As Brand becomes the icon of a kind of politics that ( like Farage, tries to position itself as being beyond politics) he becomes dangerous. Unlike Hopkins who maintains ruling class ideas and tells stories about hierarchies where the proles have to be told where they belong in the social order, Brand is trying to break through that.

I would love to see him do a face-off with Hopkins. I wonder what she thinks of him? Come to think of it, she hasn't responded to "the beak of hate" quip.
