Anyone have a solution to this? There's money in the bank and no details have changed for the account regarding credit cards ect - but Netflix is forcing me to update my payment information and won't let me watch anything unless I do it - but the money came out of the account 2 days ago so basically they're charging me for a service I can't use?

The simple solution would of been to call Netflix customer services would it not?

Cancel and sign back up again using Colombia, that's what I did yesterday, much cheaper:

UK £6.99
Mexico £4.71
USA £5.82
Brazil £4.43
Colombia £4.08

Prices are for the "Standard" HD option.

I presume I can create an account in one of these regions and log into it in the UK and I'd see the UK Netflix but pay the other region price? I may well do this.

Yes exactly, you pay for whatever Netflix region you're visiting from and view from whichever region you're visiting from. For two years I was paying USD and visiting from Sweden (without SmartDNS) and with it I was viewing all of the content from the various regions.

It's a scam. Do what they ask and they'll empty your bank account! Contact Netflix direct!!

Happened to me too because the payment wasn't cleared. (security issue)

Took a few days but it sorted out eventually.
