Has anyone else listened to Madonna's new songs off of 'Rebelheart'?
I know 'Living for Love' went to number 2 in the charts but has anyone listened to the newer tracks on her new album such as 'Ghosttown', 'Devil Pray' & 'Joan of Arc'?

there are some great songs ...and I mean songs .... on rebel heart
lyrics and melody wise the great songs are: devil pray; ghosttown, joan of arc, heartbreak city, hold tight; wash all over me, messiah, rebel heart, body shop these to me are the stand out songs ..... but I do adore the catchy pop dance tracks - holy water, best night, iconic, illuminati, graffiti heart, beautiful scars, vein vidi venci, addicted, borrowed time and queen too. so in essence the album as many have said is too long so maybe a 13 track album should have been: unapologetic bitch hold tight devil pray ghosttown joan of arc beautiful scars heartbreak city wash all over me living for love rebel heart iconic illuminati messiah that is a very strong album .... maybe a 4/5 deluxe to include: body shop queen ven vidi vici |

The little autotuned riffs in Ghosttown irritates me to no end. Why put something so electronic and past it into a beautifully natural and raw song. Baffling.
Well put together album. Her best since Confessions. |

It's one of my favourite dance jam of the album, not to mention it's super sexy. I can see this as the opening number to a sexy Dita segment of the tour with amazing choreography.

Yes and boysforpele is correct.
The album is too long and would of benefited from a smaller number of tracks. The track listed given I could go with but I don't like Unapologetic Bitch so I would cut that. If Madonna wants to release lots of songs fine put them out on a limited edition version of the album but keep them off the main album because that is the album that will be judged. Songs like Bitch I'm Madonna I hate, it's just bad noise by the end, Holy Water if only the Vogue sample started after the first 5 secs and finished 5 secs before the end, SEX is just terrible, Veni Vidi Vici great chorus shame about the rest, Best Night doesn't do anything for me either. I surprised fans are liking Body Shop it's this albums Superstar there is nothing I like about it childish lyrics, daft subject matter and the clapping makes me clap the stearing wheel to the beat and I know it's going to be in tour and I know I will hate there as well. I really hope I've not put people off buying it, it's a decent effort with lots of great songs, just to much filler for me. |

Been listening to it constantly when it leaked a month ago
I don't have an issue with it being a slightly longer album, because none of the songs feel like filler and just add a sense of more to the theme and story she wants to tell. Still to early to think this but personally, i think as a whole product by it's self, this might be my fav album from her since American Life. I am not keen on the much celebrated Confessions while Hard Candy and MDNAS were much better, there was something aout them that lacked the heart of whatever Madonna throws in with her albums. |

It's a good album, definitely her own work or stamp on it but I feel there's only a dozen songs I'll return to, maybe it's a grower.
-Living for love -Illuminati -Devil Pray -Ghost town -Holy Water (kind of a bad song but I do like it lol) -Rebel Heart -Iconic Wtf is that Autotune Baby song!?!? |
