Hi,

My Samsung Smart TV keeps telling me that Signature Services will no longer be available after April 1st, but the link to tell me what this actually means is dead. Does anyone know exactly what this means?

Thanks! I can't get the link to work...

As long as the catch-up services and YouTube are staying, I'm happy...

But now I get the message on screen every time I switch on the TV. Is there any way to stop it telling me something I don't want to know anyway?

I'm hoping that by uninstalling the apps for Kids stuff and Fitness stuff that it will kill the notification. I'm fed up with having to deal with it every time it pops up.

I have got this a couple of times and when I try selecting more info it just disappears. I don't have any kids or fitness apps on mine though but as asm said I presume it will stop in a couple of days!

Well I don't know about you but it's still appearing after every switch on four days after what ever it it has apparently ended. FFS Samsung give it a break, I don't bloody care.

Guys - it ends April 1 2025 - just 10 years of pressing back / exit to go! A clear 'smart' feature I love - a daily barrage of pointless notifications!

Dear Samsung,

Please have a 'all notifications off' option for your 'smart' tvs. I certainly will look at Other manufacturers tvs next time I buy a new tv.
It's a TV not a windows PC.

See more - https://www.avforums.com/threads/dis...f7000.1821139/

Thanks,

Steve

Good point - ill delete all apps bar iplayer / YouTube and see if that fixes it

Seems to of worked - think I had a fitness app and the notification has dissapeared

EDIT - nope 4 mins latter the critter is back!

Hopefully Samsung will give the user the option to disable ALL notifications

The logged in message is because your signed into some samsung thing - think you can log off in the smart settings (menu - smart features)

So at least that's one notification you can get rid off!

Have you tried logging into the Samsung TV 'develop' account and seeing if that helps?

Try turning of push notifications while logged in as develop, and the next time you see the annoying notification, click "don't show this again" button. After that, log in with your normal username again. This should eliminate notifications from Samsung, but remember to not unplug the TV from the mains as it will reset it back to showing notifications.

As for the firmware, it won't always update automatically. For years I thought there were no new firmware for my TV model, until I learned that I have to download firmware from the Samsung site and install manually via usb.
