I'm buying the dress in the link above, it takes you to black but I'm getting it in the Goldy green colour (which the website calls lime).
Its for a special occasion and I don't usually do glam, its like nothing I've ever worn before so I'm not sure what to put with it?
My first thought was gold necklace and earrings but I wondered if that would clash too much, so then I thought black? At the moment I'm pairing it with black heels but that might change when I try them on together.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thank you

I would go for white shoes and silver jewellery, or a forest green colour would look lovely if you wanted to be a bit more adventurous.

I would definitely steer clear of gold jewellery, and I think black would be okay but maybe a bit dull.

I would go for a teal colour if you're feeling adventurous.

If not, I'd do navy.

Black for the safe option, bright pink for the statement option (Google images lime dress pink shoes). The dress looks more lime green to me than gold btw

I think gold would go fine with it, but was also thinking deep red like red_amber too. If you're feeling brave you could even do magenta or like a sea blue.

I'd personally go for a hot pink or purple.

deep warm colours do go well with this sharp shade of green... not for me though but some will suit this...

In the case of a Roman dress it would appear to depend on who is looking at you OP. If I am not mistaken they were the creators of the 'is it black/blue or white/gold' dress that had everyone baffled recently. I think accessorising in those conditions could be a challenge.

Not sure some people have read your post where you said you don't wear dresses often! I doubt pink shoes are the right choice for you.
Something safe if you are not a dress wearer normally.
Black shoes and silver jewellery.

Agree with everyone who said wear hot pink/red/deep red accessories. Tan is too bland IMO, you need something that'll make the outfit stand out.

I would wear Nude high heels, they always seem to make a persons legs look good and a couple of thin gold bracelets and gold earrings.

Hi All,

If you could fill out my survey for my dissertation that would be a great help.

They are all multiple choice and will only take 2-3 minutes of your time!

Thanks in advance!

As it's more gold / ochre in colour, choose shoes and accessories from a brown palette, anything from nude right through to chocolate. Wear gold / wooden jewellery. The dress is a plain colour but has lots of folds which make it interesting, so it doesn't need much else to go with it.

Did you mean to post this here? This thread is about something entirely different.
