BlackBerry Leap
Looks quite a nice phone all touch screen. Seems to be middle market like the Amazon Fire phone.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-31708121 Not sure if it looks as smart as the Z10. If this ever happens: http://in.reuters.com/article/2015/0...0KW1SQ20150126 be the end of such devices and we will have another Nokia on our hands.. |

I think they're trying to make it a niche phone for business users. They said it is for "go-getters" and "career-building" young professionals.

To me, it looks like a low end handset with mid-range internals. I can see why Blackberry would need a handset in the mid-range, but they need to put more effort into design and marketing.

Selling through less than 8 million phones in 2014 gives them a market share of less than 0.4% for all mobile phones sold in 2014.
What's even worse is that only 5 million of them were Blackberry 10 devices with the rest accounting for old discontinued BB7 stock. If we see the same trends this year. Don't expect Blackberry handset business to be around much longer. |

Apart from the larger screen it isn't a great improvement on the Z10 if at all.
I think they have missed a trick although I believe the Z10 is or maybe being discontinued. |
