Do you think DTC Is bias towards certain characters/Actors? Why do some characters take the limelight all the time? Why have some characters been revitalised and why have some been left on the sidelines? Is this fair?

You need to have periods where focus is on certian characters as they are the ones carrying the stoylines. You can't treat all characters evenly, that'd be silly. If Sharon and Phil are having a big storyline you can't get equal time to the Jacksons, the Cotton's and the Beales. Similarly if the Beales are having a big storyline you don't really want to faff about with Patrick , Kim and Denise.

Usually there are two or three major storylines going on at once. Everyone else just has to wait there turn. They're still featured but only usually in a supportive/background way.

Critics would say that the Carters have hogged the limelight constantly since they arrived.

No.

I want a much bigger focus on The Slater's for a starters, and that doesn't involve Kat getting drunk every 5 minutes.

Donna, Kush, Lee etc... I couldn't care less about however... The less storylines for them, the better!

Of course he is biased. Jay, Whitney, Billy, Carol and Lola are played by good actors/actresses, but haven't had a decent storyline from DTC's era. Yes, he has done well with stories, but he gives the same characters story after story, while others get nothing, or a romance story and nothing more. You can tell which characters are his favourites.

Is this to do with the C word?

I'm surprised he hasn't referenced this already and put in the main post.

Very. Carters, Stacey, Max, Lauren. Phil moreso than Sharon; as good as she is as the Mitchell Matriarch, her reaction to Phil being involved in Dennis's death and lying about it for 8 years was ridiculous, as was her revenge after the attack.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was Vassybabes.

The likes of the Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright have been shunned in favour of having Cora shoved down our throats every other episodes.

Linda and Sharon are getting a bit much. Linda is forever looking pained about something, and Sharon pops up everywhere doing her Samaritan act. He does love these two.

Carol had her big cancer storyline.

Funny how perspectives differ. I always thought it was very much that Shirley got this treatment!

I'd say he loves Shirley a lot because she has the highest episode count so far... And she gets so much screentime.

I don't think Shirley is the type to go round dishing out advice, and who'd take it anyway.

And I'd bet had most of the other actors faced accusations like those against Linda Henry, they'd have been removed from the screen until they were found not guilty.

I think one or two characters are getting far too much screen time while others are hardly getting anything. I would love more time for Lola and much less Sharon for example. I do like the Carters so don't mind seeing them. When will Lola get a storyline? She's played by a very good actress who rarely gets anything. I think there's too much of drunk Kat and boring stories for Stacey. What's happened to the Masoods? I miss Shabnam.

It's a shame we don't see much of Lola. I'm glad Sharon is used well now because she's an original and very iconic. But Lola desperately needs more screentime. I don't think DTC is a fan of Lola sadly . We will see more of Shabnam eventually

Mick and Linda are VERY overused so I think they need less screentime.

Jay & Lola are very underused.

Given the crap way that revenge story rose and fell and that dreadful love triangle I'm not so sure he does.
