What case do you use for your iPhone 6/6+?

Having just upgraded from a 5S to a 6 I wanted a slim case that didn't add bulk or weight, and I wanted to be able to see the phone aswell, but most of these branded cases are either ugly or just too bulky and make the phone twice as thick! So I just got a cheap market stall gel type case that ticked all the boxes for me, it's slim fitting and doesn't add any bulk really, it's transparent so I can see the back of the phone still and because it's made of rubber it's nice and grippy, which is definitely needed as the phone is so slippery without.

Some might say but it won't protect it if you drop it from a great height, well probably not but I'd rather take the chance than have something bulky on my phone.

What do you guys do? No case at all? an expensive case, or a not so expensive case like me? Haha

A case?? a case?? on an iPhone 6?? Are you mad??
Hahaha
I actually don't use one. It goes in my pocket, screen against my leg, back against a soft leather wallet. No other coins or keys.
It looks as new as the day I got it!

Well at least you admit it! haha
Do you have "the other products in the business series" to coordinate it with?

It's only proper leather case I could find that had a magnetic clasp lol.

Most of the cases only protect the back sadly.

I have a Mercedes F1 Calender does that count?

Yeah if people are abit smarter in how they carry their phone it makes a massive difference.
I had a 5S for about 12months and I never had a screen protector on it. When I sold the phone last week it didn't have a single scratch on it. As you say, phone in one pocket, keys and coins in the other, can't go wrong!

Crikey you'd have to be a Merc owner aswell to pay £70 for a case! Lol to be fair it does look rather swish doesn't it, and you know it will keep your shiney phone looking good.

You do have to be very careful handling it as well though. I don't suppose they bounce very well and the new design while awesome, as Julia Roberts would say, makes them slippery little suckers!
My ex has dropped hers twice already. Luckily she has it in an official Apple soft rubberised case. They have a lip that protrudes past the screen by a millimetre or so.
Apparently it bounced on both occasions.

Yes exactly why I bought the Apple leather case for my 6, as the metalwork is very slippery!

I've got the Apple leather case in blue, but don't use it much, it's a little bulky for me. If I do use a case it's the Spigen Thin Fit Clear, £8.99 from Amazon.

People do go on about the quality metal how great it feels....then stick it in a plastic case

The iPhone 6 is actually very slippery as jchamier says. Depends if you prefer the excitement of a naked iPhone or prefer protection

Just ordered one. Thanks for that.
I will be going out getting logs (with chainsaw) in the summer.
I might be in a beat up Toyota Hilux with bull bars looking every part the Farmer but at least my phone will still look slick!
Haha

One of the Apple silicon cases. Little pricey though.

Well I have the case and it's brilliant!
You wouldn't know it was in a case.
Thanks d123!

I bought this case.

It protects the screen (now proven ), and retains the phone's slender dimensions.

It isn't as nice to touch as the cases I had on my 5 and 3Gs, but it's much thinner so I don't care.

There is a version of this case with a cut-out that allows you to see the time, date and other basic data without opening it. I initially bought the cut-out version, but replaced it with the above because the hole leaves a sizeable chunk of the screen unprotected.

Pros:
1) Inexpensive
2) Holes/indents are perfectly positioned
3) Thin
4) Relatively light weight
5) The stand is genuinely useful from time-to-time (had figured this for a gimmick)
6) The 6+'s ill-conceived jutty-out camera lens no longer juts out
7) The fake leather (see con #1) resists wearing on the creases

Cons:
1) The fake leather is quite hard. It's not as luxurious to touch as my previous cases
2) There is no clasp to fix the case lid shut *
3) The iPhone 6+ has a design flaw that this case exacerbates **

* The case has most of its weight underneath the phone, causing it to land on its back (think toast butter-side down). When I dropped mine (onto concrete no less ) the phone landed with the lid shut and no sign of any misadventure

** The off button is positioned directly opposite the volume buttons. The way I hold the phone when turning off the screen tends to trigger both buttons at the same time. When that happens neither button fires (i.e. screen stays on).

Got a Minisuit case from Amazon. It's very thin and the back is partially transparent. Was supposed to be a stopgap til something else came out, but I like it!

That's positively cheap compared to element cases. And plenty of people actually have these.

The Element ronin for the iPhone 6 is $300 (£199).

I though that it was just me, but then I thought I can't be the only one. I think they should have just left it where it was with a little shuffle still reachable.😮

No it's not just you, by a long stretch.
Dear Sir Jonny
You are a wonderful man.
Could you please sort this out asap.
