I think Cora & Lauren are back before Max- I think it will be Cora & Lauren who get Jack to look into Lucy's murder. Lauren knows that Max did not kill Lucy and I think Cora believed Max when he told her he did not kill Lucy.

Oddly I never liked Max either. If they really wanted to explore his character they should have delved into why he is so reliant on sex.

If they go down the Stacey route again I will be pissed. I suppose the good thing is that there is no one left from the Santer era now. So it makes it less likely I hope.
