I think I've figured out who calls the Social on Kat now
I expect it to be either Stacey, or Big Mo. Given how disappointed, annoyed and frustrated they were with Kat last night and her repeated asking over the past few months for them to give up their spare time to watch over the kids whilst Kat goes to get drunk, I am fairly sure it will be either Stacey or Big Mo - Kim, Linda and Sharon will be red Herrings.

I agree actually. Mo and Stacey can also see how kat is at home.

Saying that I do think it is one of them I hope it's mo. That way she can be disowned by kat and leave.

I read that phone stays connected when Linda calls them and the social overhear and therefore turn up to investigate.

I see no harm in the social being called, and I hope that it's Stacey who does it out off concern for Kat. She was necking wine last night while Tommy ran around potentially even drinking alcohol that was left lying around there. I genuinely don't think its excusable even considering Kat's awful past. I'm hating seeing her like this if I'm honest and dread her logic against whoever it is that calls the social

How dare he have a go at Kat after what he did to her, at least she has a job and can just about put food on their plate. Alfie is a pathetic husband and father. |

I thought it was Linda!
According to the mags Kat and Kim steal Denise's spare keys and let themselves into the pub and Linda catches them and there was something about Tommy being sick and Linda accuses Kat of being a bad mother and threatens to call social services but Kat shoves Linda into a table and I think the phone falls to the floor but it connects and the call goes through and the person on the other end hears what's going on and what's being said and even though Linda and Kat later have a heart to heart along with Shirley and Kim someone phones Kat next day. I'm wondering where people have heard different. |

Alfie is partly responsible for Kat's present state of mind because he was a plonker and burnt down their house and although there was mention of him being away on a job in last night's ep it's the first sniff of work he's had in months so it sounds as if he's doing something at last! So I don't want the silly buffoon chucking a spanner in the works by reporting Kat to the authorities because once they find out that he burnt the house they'll consider him an unfit parent as well I mean, he doesn't have a permanent job, no prospects and he and Kat are separated and that's not a stable home for kids is it? And he's supposed to be trying to get back into Kat's good books and grassing her up for being a bad mother won't help will it? If she found out about it she would kick him into touch for good and that would be that! I think we should definitely hide the phones from Alfie, better still, cut off his tongue!

If it's Alfie I hope Kat locks HIM in the Slater house and sets it alight.

I doubt Alfie would do it. Assuming the authorities don't find out about Alfie, whoever calls them is running the risk of Alfie being awarded custody of the twins, while Tommy could be taken into foster care as Alfie has no legal right to him. I think that would do Tommy more harm than Kat's parenting and Alfie would know that.

It sounds like it's Linda by accident from what people have read but I wonder how social services would work out who it was about from an accidentally turned on phone?

I dont get where Alfie is? He has no job and should have the Beale house to himself and Cindy? Why is she working and caring for them full time?

I hope it isn't Donna although she is bound to be suspected.

Alfie is currently lodging at Donna's and if people were paying attention last night they would have heard Kat mention that Alfie was in Soho for the weekend 'on a job', which was why he couldn't look after the kids.
Sounds to me like he's got some work at last, even if only for a short while and good for him! |
