my Harry Potter and deathly halloway dvd keeps freezing so I turned to Netflix only to find no Harry Potter. I was also disappointed
With no walking dead and lack of the pokemon episodes. Netflix should have rights to everything that has aired so everythkng is easy to find.
It's the biggest streamer but it's a let down with lack of big titles. Now I've got to find it on google which is a bloody nightmare and most you have to pay for. When broke it is not convient and DVDs are becoming more redundant and crash aloy and get scratched easy. Same with games too. We already pay for Netflix so it should have everything.

You're paying for access to the content which is currently streaming on Netflix. Always best to check what that is and what is likely to be coming up.

DVDs only scratch easily if you don't look after them, but the majority of scratches can be removed by a scratch remover kit such as Skip Dr.
As for Netflix, well they can only show what they have the license to show and currently they don't have the licensing rights to show Harry Potter in the UK at this current time.
If you really must see Harry Potter on Netflix then using a smart DNS service such as www.unblock-us.com will allow you to find them showing on the South American Netflix regions.

Is this post a wind-up? For the princely fee of £6.99 per month, you genuinely believe that Netflix are obliged to provide you with permanent access to every film and TV programme ever aired? At least, I assume that's what you mean by 'Netflix should have rights to everything that has aired / We already pay for Netflix so it should have everything'.

Can you explain, coherently, exactly how you believe licensing works? Or how much you estimate it would cost to buy up and retain the rights to everything that has ever been made?

^^WTF If everyone payed NF £50 or so a month then maybe they could show everything, but even SKY with the high prices can't/don't show everything.

Completely bonkers. I hope you had a tantrum when you found out Netflix doesn't have 'everything'
