How much are Madonna UK tour ticket prices likely to cost?
I'm thinking about buying a ticket to see Madonna at the Glasgow Hydro they go on sale on March 12th. How much are Madonna UK tour ticket prices likely to cost?

well I paid £90 each for murrayfield in 2012.
looking at SSE Hydro website it ranges from £44.80 to £196.00. Obviously the more closer you are to the stage, the more expensive they'll be. The £44.80 tickets I wouldn't even bother getting as you'll be way at the back and will see absolutely nolthing so will be watching the screens all the way through which in that case you mayt as well just wait for a dvd to be released. the £196.00 tickets will be front row. hope this helps. im hoping to get tickets for her SSE Hydro gig too,. the website says they go on sale 16th March

£100 + for anything decent. If you get the £45 tickets you'll be watching her on a video screen.

On the positive side of this tour all the UK dates are arena's which is completely different to being stuck at the back of a stadium. So overall as long as you don't have restricted view you will be ok. The staging has a heart heart shaped stage at the other end of the arena floor joined with a cross stage running from the main stage to the heart.
Having attended every tour since Blond Ambition there is positive an negatives about being up close or further back. On Confessions I was front row which yes was great but you miss so much of the theatrics of a Madonna concert as she always has big staging and a lot going on. When I attended Confessions the second time I must admit I preferred the show from further back. I had a similar experience at S&S. Both experiences were quite different if the same concert due to viewing the overall theatrical presentation in full which you don't get when you are close up. IMO I really don't think it matters so much in an Arena as you are never going to be that far away you don't get to enjoy the experience. The pricing is tiered the more you pay the closer you are. It's interesting as the packages are very spefic to package from Row1, Rows2-4 etc. |

Also, arenas aren't too bad. At the O2 you get a pretty good view from all angles, and even for seats at the back I think £40 is be a perfectly reasonable amount to pay. I'd happily pay it just to be there in person. |

One of the best things about a live concert is the atmosphere, and that is something you cannot create at home with a DVD. I had terrible seats right at the back of Murrayfield for MDNA and it was still an incredible show. (and they cost considerable more than £40.)

I recall when she done a one off concert just over 10 years ago, and the price was over £200.

I paid £80 a ticket for Murrayfield back in 2012 and the view was pretty dire. It was literally watching the screen all night. Having said that I wouldn't swap the experience for anything, the atmosphere was electric and because my friend and I got there before the gates opened and took our seats as soon as we possibly could we got the pleasure of watching the rehearsals. We did then have to wait four hours for her to reappear but it was worth it.
I remember the car pulling up behind the stage and everyone cheering, it was just one of those moments in time that will always stick with me. (That and all of the mexican waves we kept doing :P)

Having sat in the upper tier at the back at the O2 I would disagree with that statement.

This gives some perspective perhaps:

I sat in the 3rd back row for Lady Gaga at The Hydro and it was brilliant. There was a great atmosphere, everybody was on their feet, singing along. At the end of the day, I paid £70 less than the people sitting about 15ft in front of me. We're watching the same show, does it matter where we're sitting?

I don't know if I am willing to pay nearly £200 for a good ticket when I only like Living for Love and Joan of Arc. I know it will be a great experience though so might sit further back as it will still be a great show. I'm disabled so will probably need an accessible seat anyway. |

This way my view from Murrayfield:
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...psrsjx0oo3.jpg It seemed we were much further than that when we were actually there and we were also very high up; I'm wondering if my friend had the camera zoomed in on most of the photos. |

Twice Prior to going to concerts I have had an accident which resulted in me having one of my legs once in a cast another time my foot strapped up. On both occasions the venue Newcastle arena other Wembley arena were helpful in relocating me to the disabled seating area. They will also allow you to have another person with you. |

If you are disabled purchase cheap ticket then contact venue. They always have a special area reserved for disabled which is usually in the first sections either to the left or right of the stage. Giving a full clear view.

http://www.thessehydro.com/events/ma...our-16202.aspx Edit: Oh wait, those are probably the prices before admin fees are added on. Ridiculous that the fees are only £2.80 for the cheap seats but £10 for the most expensive. It's not like there's a bigger workload in processing the dearer seats

Is anyone else concerned that the o2 is yet to be given a seating plan on TM? I want to buy my tickets first thing tomorrow but I can't if I don't know where I'll be sitting. :l
Also reading through the official Madonna forums where it seems that some people who purchased a live pass for week one were unable to actually purchase tickets. That better not happen! I will be fuming if I've spent money for the sole purpose of gaining a ticket only for there to be issues meaning that I cannot get one. EDIT: I talked it up! Seating plan has no been updated. They have however removed the Amazon presale information... |

I am gonna go for one of the VIP packages, but with the layout of the stage not sure whether to go Row 1-3 or along the runway, depends on the price I guess wish I knew the price in advance so knew what to go for in the morning

![]() With the Icon pass, does anyone know how to use it on TM? I got one last time for MDNA and I can't remember the steps I followed. Do I choose the tickets I want and then use the code to purchase them? Or do I have to put the code in on a separate page first to actually reach the presale page? |
