Oreos
Have you noticed of late just how good these biscuits are. Have they always been this good?

They taste beautiful and always have done, at least during the years they've been available to me.

I prefer the original version - Bourbon Creams.
Dipping them in milk - Seriously? Does anyone not see through that 'healthy' marketing ploy? Next they'll be showing us adverts for KFC where the ecstatically happy eater takes their bargain bucket home and serves it to their children on plates with carrots, parsnips, chick peas and kale to 'highlight' how healthy a diet you too can have at home by eating fried processed chicken. |

Biscuits, fried chicken etc CAN be part of a healthy balanced diet. Yes, if you spent every mealtime eating KFC and Oreos I'd imagine your health would suffer and your waistline would expand but neither company are saying you should eat their product every day.
Oreos and milk is probably down to the American-ness of them - Milk and Cookies is a big childhood snack tradition in the US. Anyway, yes, they are rather delicious, and also contain no animal products so if you're vegan you can still eat them! |
