Nobody ever has a cat in soap. I think there could be some scenes to be enjoyed with Vincent twisting his neck and stroking a cat.

I think it makes more sense for Claudette to be old mother hubbard. With Kim estranged from Vincent I think Claudette will be his eyes and ears on the square. I can see her worming her way into the lives of the Foxes before being revealed as Vinces mum.


I would be up for seeing a couple of younger Hubbards. It was argued that Dexter was typical representation of the youth of today in the east end. But he was poorly acted and the character lacked substance. Here they have a chance of rectifying that by giving Vincent some children or younger siblings who can represent the youth of today and are characters who us old fogies can connect with.

I agree! Cats are the most underused pets in slap. We had Debbie's kittens back in the 80s, the slaters cat on the early 00s and Shirley bensons. Dogs we've had Roly, willy, lady di, tramp, wellard, sugar, the pups briefly and probably a bunch of minor ones over the years. A lot of people have cats and along with dogs are the most common pet type.

She could be Ada's sister. It's not confirmed yet either way but I'd rather her ten out to actually be Ava and claudette is to put us of of Ada's sister. Ada has one of the most wanted to see characters. I'd rather not expand on Vincent's family just yet.

I would like a young male character the same age as Cindy. She needs a better character than Liam as her potential love interest.

It was a mistake axing tj for both cindy and Liam. I liked Liam and tjs brotherly rival that was developing there. Liam needs more screentime and I'd like liam and cindy to become a couple.

I think there is currently more storyline scope for her to be a Hubbard than a Fox.

As much as I want her to be a fox I do think your right on that point.

I would bring in a daughter called Odette, maybe they will move into the Slater House once it's all been redone.

She is not Ada.

They will all form one clan anyway, I can see Claudette meddling in their lives. The Foxes are in a vulnerable position at the moment so it will be easy for the Hubbards to muscle their way in.

The Foxes live in two houses which are combined, I can see the Hubbards moving in with them. Shirley and Dean could get a place with Buster.

I hope Vincent has a daughter Cindy's age because Cindy actually needs a friend. Mimi is too good to waste so all the more screen time for her the better.

Claudette is a matriarch so she must have more family on the way as you can't be a matriarch unless you have a clan to rule over.

I wish they were all axed and bring back some previous characters instead. New characters are boring and I much prefer seeing past characters.
