I love this video! I'm pretty sure Quentin took influence from her number plate being Pussy Cat when dreaming up Pussy Wagon for Kill Bill!

The remix is the Above & Beyond version. You might find it via a Google search. If not the CD single version did have it on there.

Funnily enough, I was looking to buy the remix version as well only a few days ago and couldn't find it. Amazon don't have it either. I'm gutted because a local charity shop had the CD single a few weeks ago and I didn't buy it

Why in gods name is it not on iTunes. Bizarre.
I have tried a google search to find a download somewhere with no luck

I love this song too. One of my faves from Music and from Madonna's back catalogue.

To answer your question about the remix download, why don't you get the music video up on YouTube and convert it into an MP3?? You can find an YouTube converter online and copy the web address into the converter and you should be able to download it.

The album version makes for one of the weakest singles of her career IMO, but it was nicely saved by the magnificent video and the great remixes they commissioned. The USA single contains 9 mixes, including both the edit and full Above & Beyond mix - well worth tracking down!

The glare she gives the police men in the video at around the 2:00 mark is possibly my favourite moment of any Madonna video ever I wish she made music videos like that again. It was for a 3rd single too!

It's ok but Why Oh Why didn't they release Impressive Instant. That could have been huge if it was the second single!

I love both songs and agree that Impressive Instant should have been a single!

I like to singy, singy, singy, like a bird on a a wingy, wingy, wingy.

I like to samba, samba, samba, dance to a rumba, rumba, rumba!

Ah, ah, ah!

What It Feels Like for a Girl is a great track. I also really like Impressive Instant. Wasn't it going to be released as the fourth single from Music? I think it was cancelled or something.

Not one of my fav slow songs from Madonna, plus it comes from the only era of her career i dislike.

I think Guy Ritchie directed the video and it was rather controversial at the time.

Yeah it got banned and wasn't allowed to be shown until after 10pm! yet now it could probably air during the day with no issues. lol Just goes to show how times change.

I think Paradise Not For Me was going to be the 4th single but it got scrapped. She used the video however as an interlude on the Drowned World Tour

You can watch it here.

I've got What It Feels Like For A Girl on Music DVD. There used to be singles released on DVD as well as CD. I have got a few others too. It never took off though. Youtube saw their demise.

the album version is not her best no, love the Above and Beyond remix.

I thought Amazing always was to be considered as the final single and then pulled back?

just goes to show how spoiled for choice we were back then

I remember going into HMV with my parents and seeiing about 4 versions of chart top 10 singles (record, 2 cd's and 7") but back then being very short of pocket money there was almost certain only 1 or 2 singles to be purchased

That's the only song from that era that I still listen to.

According to wiki, the label wanted Amazing as the next single but Madonna refused as she felt it was too similar to Impressive instant, and wanted Impressive instant as the next single anyway. Impressive instant became a club only song, while The label preceeded to release Amazing without Madonna's involvement, but a promotional CD in europe was all that surfaced.

What a waste. Maybe I'm deluded but I think if that had been released before the album it would have blown a lot of people away. Sure some would hate it but those dirty synths sounded so big and futuristic. I remember playing it on the CD and thinking WTF is this?!!

Madonna and Mirwais were genius. I think he is the best producer she has ever worked with. It was him not William Orbit who got the best work out of her.

Hmm. Great collaboration but Dunno about best. I think her work with WO, Nelle Hooper and Nile Rodgers is great too. She always had the knack of hitching a ride with a great producer at the right time. But the last time was probably Stuart Price in 2005. Personally the last two albums were a bit also ran for me.
