Looks good, just ordered one to replace my Nexus 5

The slightly smaller size and great battery life is what attracts me.

Yes locked to O2. But according to those on HotUkDeals it's very easy to unlock from either O2 or eBay.

If you know anyone with an O2 contract they can unlock it for you using the O2 unlock form on their website for free.

If not then you can pay about £11.50 on ebay for an unlock code.

O2 told me they won't unlock for 12 months, then it's £15 so I lost interest.
I don't want to invalidate any warranty (presume warranty is with Sony but via retailer) as have heard some people have had cracks appear in screens on this device.
If I get an unlock code from ebay or use an unlocking shop, will this invalidate the warranty?

Price on this handset seems to be falling anyhow - £300 on amazon now?

No an unlock code wont invalidate your warrant which is 2 years from Sony, also if you know anyone on an O2 contract they can unlock via the online form for free.

It's £325 on Amazon which is £85 more expensive...

Chances are the compact will skip the Z4 as it did the Z2.
