This may seem like sacrilege to some, but I could never stand her whiny nasal delivery.

The best singers in the Supremes in my opinion were always Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson. But Gordy preferred Ross.

Six? Oh well... I've chosen ten. In no particular order:

(with THE SUPREMES)
My World Is Empty Without You
Where Did Our Love Go?
You Keep Me Hanging On
Reflections
Nothing But Heartaches

(solo)
I'm Still Waiting
Love Hangover
Upside Down
Theme from Mahogany (Do You Know Where You're Going To)

(duetting with MARVIN GAYE)
You Are Everything

I've no problem with anyone liking Diana Ross.

But to give an idea of Ross's relative contemporary popularity, the highest number of YouTube hits on her "cover" of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." is 4.5 million.
The original, by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, is up to 31 million.

How much more widely known would Tammi had been if she hadn't died so young?

6. Stop! In The Name Of Love
5. I'm Coming Out
4. Muscles
3. Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)
2. It's My Turn
1. Touch Me In The Morning

I actually generally prefer Diana Ross' solo material, mostly because I like big ballads and empowerment anthems.

Point taken and understood, but she has some beautiful ballads

I'd rate Tammi Terrell more highly to. In fact, I rate many Motown ladies above Diana Ross (Brenda & Patrice Holloway, Mary Wells, Sondra 'Blinky' Williams, Gladys Knight, Syreeta Wright, Kim Weston, Tata Vega, Yvonne Fair etc.) but the songwriting, arrangements, players and backing singers all shaped the Motown sound and as a result, she was involved in a lot of rather great records (as were all artist on the label).

I didn't really care for her one way or the other. To me the Supremes made good pop songs in the sixties but so did so many other artists then one day I just 'got her'. I think her real talent is in her phrasing. I still don't own any of her work unless it features on a compilation album but when I hear her I listen more intently and appreciate her more.
My top six in no particular order are:

Love Child
Stoned Love
I'm Gonna Make You Love Me
Reflections
Stop In The Name Of Love
You Can't Hurry Love

3.Floy Joy
4.Nathan Jones
5.Automatically Sunshine

..and one from DR & Supremes ( my Karaoke song, if I ever muster the nerve )...
