Has to be-b side of ray of light, odd that it did not make the album, only the Japanese version

Bit difficult to choose! I was going to say You Must Love Me, but seeing as that was written for Evita (albeit for the Madonna movie of Evita) I figured it didn't really count.

Of the rest of her releases, I think Hung Up is my favourite. Frozen was a close second, but Hung Up is my favourite.

I'm actually another one who isn't keen on her earlier releases, with a few exceptions...

Proof that some of her best stuff are just album tracks! If every person bought one post True Blue album from Madonna, I think they'd be amazed at how strong her records are!

That's right you can only list one!

After much debate in my head I went for Like A Prayer but I opted for the slightly remixed dance version of it that we got on The Immaculate Collection

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KL_N_Mz5sPk

I love so many but it it was just one song it'd be Like A Prayer.
Really it was her peak. She was absolutely unstoppable at that point. At her peak creatively & as an icon.

I did think of starting a different thread asking for your favourite Madonna album track but I don't want people to kick off again about there being too many M threads!

I can't pick one favourite song as I like so many, but I'm gonna go for Hung Up or Vogue.

Like A Prayer - the original version rather than the version chosen in the OP.

Madonna's discography from 1984 right up to 2006 is awesome. It all started to fall apart after Hard Candy imo.

Hard Candy and part of MDNA are her lowlights. But from Superstar to Falling Free and the whole of Rebel Heart is just as strong.

I liked 4 Minutes but it wasn't a classic Madonna track, and it more than likely did well because of Justin Timberlake.

None of the singles from MDNA appealed to me so never bothered to check out the album.

However, I still think Ghosttown from Rebel Heart is outstanding.

Hard Candy is definately her weakest moment. It's so horribly dated now. Even the strongest songs (Devil Wouldn't Recognise You & Beat Goes On) are pretty weak in comparison to her other songs.

MDNA is pretty good though. Girl Gone Wild, I Don't Give A, I'm Addicted and the magnificent Masterpiece are among her best album tracks in years IMO, but the album on the whole was pretty messy.

Rebel Heart is her strongest since Confessions, and possibly my favorite since American Life. I do get some AL vides from some of the tracks on RH. Anybody who says she needs to act her age need to give it a listen - it's got some of her most grown up songs in years.

MDNA should have been this:

1: Beautiful Killer
2: Gang Bang
3: I'm Addicted
4: Turn Up The Radio
5: Some Girls
6: Superstar
7: I Don't Give A
8: I'm A Sinner
9: Love Spent
10: I F***ed Up
11: Masterpiece
12: Falling Free

That would have been a really consistent run of strong tracks. The singles were the weakest songs of the album.

If the question had been favourite B-Side (from any artist) of all time, this would have been my clear winner, but not quite my favourite Madonna song I'm afraid.

I think I'm gonna go with 'Love Tried to Welcome Me' from Bedtime Stories, but TBH, apart from the title track, any song from this album could be a contender.

It was really difficult to decide, admittedly... But I have to go with "Justify My Love".

That song always makes me want to take my clothes off. Without giving too much information away, all it would take to seduce me is a bottle of cheap white plonk and that song playing in the background, and I'd be anyone's!

OOh err!!! When's the best time to call round to your place? I'll bring wine and a thirty minute version of Justify My Love! I will be fully clothed, initially.
