Would be good
It would be good to keep having the SD card, how the heck am I going to transfer over 300 songs I have on my SD.
Does anyone know where I can complain about this? |

In Windows, make a temp folder and plug your old phone in and transfer your files (music/photos/video) to it (drag and drop).
Plug in your new G6 and drag and drop the files from your PC to the phone. Easy as that. |

google play?
spotify premium instead of 'your' songs? buy another phone, while some of them still have expandable storage? (I can see everyone copying Apple - you want 64GB, pay more for it to be built in, in metal backed phones). I'm more peeved at the lack of spare battery swap out and the lack of waterproofing. 2 things that made Samsung S5 worth buying. or wait. If enough buyers don't go for the S6, they'll revert back with the S7 or whatever they call it. |

Samsung Engineering Co., Ltd.
Samsung GEC, 26, Sangil-ro 6-gil, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, Korea TEL+82-2-2053-3000 As ihatemarmite says if people don't buy it and sales don't meet expectations they will change it. I reckon they have done some market research that says they will gain more customers than they will loose by making these changes. If the market research is wrong then we will find out soon enough. In the mean time consider a Galaxy S5 or Note 4 or perhaps another phone from another manufacturer. |

The poor sales of the s5 probably caused this change of direction.

Samsung is reported to have received 20 million pre-orders for the S6 / Edge. Although the S5 is seen as a failure it still had more pre orders than the S4. So maybe we shouldn't read too much into these things.

300 songs, at 7MB each would be just over 2GB. The smallest Galaxy S6 internal storage is 32GB, even if it's with 25GB usable, you've got plenty of space! I wouldn't worry about it.
How much usable memory would I get from that? I will try to store as little as possible. |

I've decided on getting the Iphone this year, is it worth getting the 16GB version?

If you can afford it, get the next one up. |

After that everything returned to normal. That was about a year ago, and its been pretty flawless since. I would recommend it to anyone. |

The S5 was seen as a failure as sales slowed down, however releasing a new phone every year its clear sales would slow down.
From what I have read and seen so far I consider the S5 LTE-A a much better phone than the S6. The S6 only win seems to be the extra gig of ram which may prove big in the future depending how things pan out and a faster processor. But my S5 doesnt feel sluggish suggesting android now is no longer bottlenecked by hardware. The S6 has a unswappable battery, is faced with higher battery drain due to more amoled pixels to power up and will be expensive to have high capacity due to lack of sdcards. Also I have now tried lollipop and wow its bad, android gets dumbed down with every new release, and it seems the dumbing down has been a huge step in 4.4. to 5.0, not to mention the ugly default white background colour, what on earth is going on in google's design department. |

The S5 LTEa and S6 have the same screen resolution and amount of ram. The S6 has a better spec camera and processor, but of course we will have to wait and see how they perform. It also has faster ram and flash storage. Where have you tried 5.0? On your S5? That isn't Google's design team making it look ugly, Samsung managed that by themselves. Anyway beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Lots of people like Material Design. |

I agree with you Chrysalis. Lollipop is horrible to look at. It does work well, though.

The screen is Super AMOLED, which means low power consumption. The phone has a new type of Flash memory called Universal Flash Storage which is good for low power consumption. The phone is also quick charging (10 mins charge for 4 hours use) and wireless charging enabled. |

Apple - a wholly unreasonable choice to make which ignores what consumers really want. |

For me it depends how much they are charging for the 64gb/128gb models.
If it's too much then I will be looking elsewhere as even on my S5 I have 80gb of storage (with a couple of gb left). Don't really like a phone without a removable battery as I like to have a spare in the car, but perhaps the fast charging will resolve this problem. |

Anyway beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Lots of people like Material Design. ![]() The samsung version of lollipop will probably be an improvement as their design team has a clue. Funny some people hate e.g. that the contacts in touchwiz is still got some gingerbread design elements, they fail to understand the reason for that is those design elements are successful and more practical than what google now use. The EU S5 LTE-A model number G901F has the same screen res as the standard S5. Here is a link comparing it to the S6. I think you mistaken it for the korean version which has a higher res and more ram. http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3...&idPhone2=6576 |
