I've had it for a week now and it's excellent. The screen is huge but it's not that much of a disaster navigating your hands around the screen to type or touch something. The display is awesome.

Out of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ I would have gone for the iPhone 6+ like just for the sheer size and usability of watching videos/tv programmes etc plus it looks so much nicer and cooler than the regular iPhone 6, however I currently (and sadly) am stuck with the shitty and cheap iPhone 5s that I hate and desperately want rid of ASAP.
Can upgrade in May but unsure whether to get the iPhone 6+ then or wait for the Sony Xperia Z4 or iPhone 6s (depending on what comes first). |

You really cannot male such a blanket statement. Just as I can't make a blanket statement of "The 6 Plus is way too big". It really depends on the person. For me personally, with my smallish hands, anything over around 5 inches is just too big (no dirty jokes please!!). That includes the 6 Plus, the Galaxy Notes, the Nexus 6 etc.

I've got an iPhone 6+, mainly for the improved battery and camera. It was worth going for the bigger size because with my previous iPhones, I had to buy a mophie battery case anyway, so I thought why not just go straight for the 6+ and not use a mophie. It doesn't feel that big due to the slim form factor of the phone.
The only downside is that it is harder to use with 1 hand. Otherwise, I'm pretty pleased with it. |

I brought the 6, and now wish I had gone for the 6+, and if someone was to offer me to swap + plus £100 and replacement cases I would go for it.

Depends if you are open to the idea of a bigger phone. If you do not have enough space in your purse or manbag you will hate it

The 6 Plus is great, but with my eyesight I still can't see small text or play games on a small screen. I think I would prefer a bit more room in my pocket with a 6. I might wait and get a 6S later this year. |

Luckily even iOS users now have a choice in screen size, welcome to 2011 guys and girls. We all like different things which is a good thing. There is no right or wrong in this.

I weighed up both the 6 and 6+ just decided for me that the 6 was a better form factor and was easier use one handed. Battery has lasted me until I get home which issue all I require of a phone. Would I have liked OIS possibly yes but the pictures seem fine on my iPhone 6 as well.
