I don't like how bitter, twisted and sarcastic Eileen has become.
She never used to be as bad as she is now and I personally think this is for the worst.

She's one of my favourite characters in Corrie. Makes me laugh

Used to be great, has become awful. They used to write her as funny and sarcastic but with warmth to her, now she's just a spiteful cow.

Great character, I love Eileen. Just wish they'd settle her down with a decent man instead of the rubbish CheatingTinyFiremen and ParrotOwning losers they usually lumber her with.

I don't like her and would axe her along with Todd and Sean.

I don't like her either.

I read she goes on a date this week with some bloke she met on Plenty of Fish or similar.

I love Eileen, I'd like for her and Gail to have more interactions...ideally I'd like to see them in a triangle fight over Micheal.

I think the character of Eileen fits well into the street. But it is so sad that they have taken her to the Character Transplant clinic, out back, and made her so spiteful. I hope it wears off soon and she goes back to being just feisty. When Steve has conquered his depression, we can have some more great banter in the taxi office.

She's the one all the Grimshaws really on - now she is sarky for the sake of it

Ditto! She did used to be amusing, but now she is so dam nasty it's embarrassing to watch. I've got so I cringe everytime she comes on screen, they have just turned her into a bitter, nasty piece of work, that shows just where her evil son gets it all from!

Absolutely agree OJ ( if I may call you that.) I've always liked her tbh - even in dinner ladies.

She's always been my favourite but I have been a bit of tired of her recently.

Eileen's horrible too much of the time - so spiteful and aggressive. I really can't bear it when she's in shouty mode either; I don't think the actress has the range to do high emotion - it just sounds like she's screeching.

She can be very funny, and I remember years ago hearing she was being axed and wondering why as I really liked her. Now I'd be glad to see the back of her.

Todd didn't used to be evil. It's only since he came back from London, so I think Eileen isn't to blame.

Her character took a nose-dive with the Tiny Fireman business.

Oh, YAWN! It's a guest stint aswell. I don't know why Corrie even go there, it's been done to death. Give Eileen some happiness and stability and stop using her as a one dimensional character!

Oh, and PLEASE get rid of that horrendous son of hers, Todd! Awful, awful, awful, AWFUL character!.

I don't really like her at the minute but putting her behind the bar could be the new making of a new betty. She was sarcastic, dry and witty like Eileen is but with warmth like the old Eileen. writing her with A mix of the two and I think the rovers are on to a winner

She was an absolutely brilliant character at one time but as with a lot of characters in the show at the moment, she's been increasingly poorly written for. She hasn't been so bad since she appeared behind the Rovers bar for me but the plan of them seemingly taking her down the route of another relationship is set to reverse the character back to the irritating non-entity she became with Paul.
