Freezing cooked gammon - okay?
Just checking, is it okay to cook a whole slab of gammon, slice it up and then freeze it?
also, if alternatively I want to stick it in the fridge instead of the freezer (after it's been cooked), how long will it last? (bear in mind that the gammon is 1 day past it's use-by date when it was cooked) |

Freezing fine. No idea how long it will last in the fridge, a few days definitely.

Gammon is a cured meat so it will last longer than other meats, especially if cooked. I'd say a week or so.

Freezing is fine - loses some texture.
