I believe it might be self-plagiarism, actually. No proof but the guy who wrote the UK eurovision entry has had a very successful career as a jingle writer, writing more than 4,000 TV ad jingles in the 80s and 90s. Really wouldn't be surprised if he pulled it out of his own jingle back catalogue!
