How do you carry yours around when you're not in the house?
I'm thinking of getting one later this year.

I have an iPad mini. I got the mini specially so it was lighter and easier to carry around. I have a case on it and then stick IT in my bag if I need it

I have a Nexus 7 and it fits perfectly in my handbag. That's one of the reasons I chose that tablet. It is a good tablet though and it works very well.

I haven't got one yet but I'm considering getting one later this year. I don't want anything special or fancy and I'm looking at between fifty-a hundred quid and just to see what the fuss is about really (Now I can play Mario Grand Prix 64 at a pub table thanks to emulators on my phone)

BTW just HOW secure is cloud storage?

(This isn't a request for tablet PC recommendations as I'm already working on replacing this laptop because of the grief it gives me and I' researching the market to see which one to aim for [three hundred and fifty quid minimum-four hundred maximum but I can be flexible)

Always in a leather carry case.

Some keep their tablets in a pill box.

IF I do decide to get one, charging iy up straight out of the box and sat at a pub table with it won't be a problem as I ALWAYS bring my USB charger out with me.

I strap mine to my wrist and pretend it's a big watch. My own precursor to the Apple watch.

Too small for my requirements and 100% incompatible with my needs.

I suspend mine in front of my face from a special hat and view my life through the camera as if I was in my own first person shooter video game.

I tried carrying mine around attached to a selfie-stick, but it just wasn't ostentatious enough. So now I use a roach pole. Of course, I've had to get a bigger tablet.

iPad air, the best selection of apps on Apple.

Light and can just be put in your bag.

Not thst many pubs will have a convenient socket. They probably don,'t want to fork out for the electricity to charge devices for all and sundry, and who can blame them?

Scratch that!!!

'm definetly getting one (a windows one) but I have another question:-
How do I transfer my graphics/music software from my laptop onto a windows driven tablet PC IF it's possible?
I don't want anything fancy, just to use as a supplement to my lappy. Playing DOOM3
might also be a problem.
I've seen a couple od tasty looking 5 inch ones on the curry's website for less than a hundred quid.

Windows tablets are easy. Just move things on to a USB stick. Or, you can set up a Homegroup and transfer over a network.

I've found DOSBOX on my lappy to be a pain the arse due to certain F-keys I've seen a couple of tasty seen inch ones in Currys for less than a hundred quid and transering
documants won't be much of a probem and with my USB portable charger I can start using it straight away.

But at the moment I'm saving up for a new laptop as I've got a feeling the one II'm using ATMmght start giving me greif and die on me next year so I'm not being caught short this time.

Linx 8. Fits in a top pocket and IS a fully functioning laptop/pc. All for £70

Admittedly with a keyboard case (£14) it becomes a little thicker.....

One easy way of transferring files is to copy file to the cloud eg dropbox and then download to tablet.
