Nancy could do so much better than Tamwar
Given that she was with those plonkers Wayne and Dexter, Tamwar is probably her best chance.

Whoa, Mo duff duff! That must be a collectors item.

Bit of a disappointing filler episode and though Kat's story was prominent I don't thonk there was enough Kat herself.

Scenes felt choppy and disjointed.

Too much Pam and Les.

I bet Les is hiding something more.

He doesn't strike me as someone who lets people off with money. I remember how he reacted to Ian having not paid his bill...

Not as good as yesterday, but I did enjoy Shabnam, Kush, Stacey and Kat's scenes.

Just glad this week isn't focusing on DTC's favourite couple as the only attraction.

I am glad Les and Pam are getting more screen time, I really like them.

Poor Carol, is she going through the change

Liam and Cindy what if Ian had walked in!

I feel sorry for Kat, she never gets a break.

"I used to bunk off school with your Grandad". Not really something I would want to know if I were Liam.

How did i know that Mo would retrieve that letter to get the cash. Chances are she'll take it for herself if Kat still refuses it.

Shabnam puts into words exactly why many rape victims wouldn't want their assailants money for those that still don't get it. It is a legacy, whatever you do with then money includes the deceased to a certain extent. So if jKat uses it to raise her boys, it taints them with Harry even though he died years before they were born. Many won't understand that, but it is how many will feel. Also, the feeling that it is payment for 'services rendered' and thus legitmises the abuse in some sick way.

As to the robbery, yes i feel sorry for her but again she has kind of had it coming by constantly leaving the stall without organising proper cover, just shouting out "watch the stall, whoever" when they already had their own stalls to manage. She's been taking advantage and there was bound to come a time when other people either couldn't or wouldn't help her out and an unattended stall is easy pickings. Also, why should Aleks risk his job by committing a criminal offence by aiding a fraudulent claim for somebody he likes, let alone somebody that has been unreliable, late in payments and downright verbally abusive at times.

What on earth is Les up to. Very puzzling.

And why is Shabs keeping her relationship from her family.

Poor Carol, and poor Kat.

I thought Sharon was looking after Cindy

So so episode.

I'm sure Lian already knows that his Grandparents are only early 50s and his Mum is nearly 40 so we're gymslip parents.

Still not something you'd really be comfortable hearing from your grandma. And what's with Sonia's outrage?

I was wondering about that myself. Her parents accepted Syed's sexuality in the end. Masood has had drinking and gambling problems and Zainab was having an affair with him while married to Yusef (although he was an abusive man). It would be lazy writing if they forgot all of that and made it as though Mas would have problems with Shabnam having a bloke.

Yes, i also thought Sharon was looking after Cindy but then we did see her tell Cindy on the phone she wouldn't be round until the next day so maybe she's only phoning to check in or relying on Cindy to contact her if she needs something.

To be fair, it doesn't take many days of take away meals and no washing up for a teenager to get a small kitchen into that state.

From memory, Carol was less than sympathetic when she had Rebecca at 13 - refusing to support her so maybe she is resentful that Liam is being supported in having teenage sex, especially with somebody that has already had a baby. Or maybe she doesn't want Rebecca thinking it is okay from Liam and Cindy's example?

ETA

I think most people wouldn't be great hearing about their grandparents early sex lives but Carol and David are still quite young and we're due to remarry last year, obviously sleeping together so i think Liam might be more resilient than most and got over any 'ick' factor.

I like liam and carols bond and they have been close. Also relationships can handle between a child/parent (sonia and carol) to child/grandparent (liam and carol). I think carol has accepted that it's just what kids do these days and cindy is already a parent. Atleast Liam is going to get sorted with condoms soon.

Either the EastEnders production team are on holiday or they know some of these episodes are a bit crap and can't bring themselves to tweet about them.

Twitter seemed to be interested in Liam & Cindy and that wasn't the main storyline!

What a comedown since live week, actually since before live week. We've had a poor run of episodes and it feels like the B team is working on them.

To be fair twitter is more youth focussed and Liam and Cindy were the main young storyline tonight. I suspect Lauren and Peter dominated talk during the anniversary before Bobby was revealed.

I'd have preferred a few small scenes in episodes leading up to this to establish Cindy is home alone and Liam is coming over. If something of interest happens it trends, Billy & Carol trended yesterday. Just doesn't feel like anything particular great is happening at the moment. To me anyway.
