Jane is the new matriarch of the Beales and she is definitely an interesting character now.

But when Kathy comes back, will Kathy reclaim her place as the matriarch of the Beales? Or will Jane continue being the head of the Beales?

Jane isn't fit to carry the Beale name after what she has done. I hope Kathy finds out the truth about Lucy and kicks Jane out and gets Ian to see how sick she is.

He will...eventually, it's his mum, like his daughter, she will always mean more to him then any woman.

Out of the two it be Kathy but Jane hardly new she been with the family for ten yrs.

I always imagined Kathy and Jane would get on really well Jane is very similar to Kathy in a lot of ways - Laurie Brett even admitted she based her portrayal of Jane on Kathy. However now Im sure we can expect some drama/tension between the two once Kathy discovers what Jane did. Although Kathy herself will have a murderer for a son with Ben so maybe she will be able to identify with Jane on some level.

I'm also looking forward to Kathy finding out Jane cheated on Ian with Grant that'll be an awkward conversation considering Kathy also slept with him.
