EastEnders needs some good storylines...
It's been going downhill again since live week. I love having more Kat, but it really is just dragging along ATM, and isn't interesting at all IMO.
I also find Les and Pam awful! |

Yeah I agree!
Kat is great at the moment but we do need to know what the deal is with Zoe. Pam and Les are ok and Pam's line about Les's battered sausage made me chuckle ![]() ![]() but i'm not a fan.

I think things will pick up once the Beales, Phil and such ate back on screen . I guess this quiet period is because the cast were rehearsing live week,?. So others get storylines.

I thought it would go quiet after live week, it can't be high, gripping drama ever week.

Just because tonight was pretty bland (and I agree, it was) doesn't mean things are going downhill or whatever. Last week was brilliant, as was most of yesterday's episode. Despite the crappy developments of the Kat storyline tonight, which was pretty much a exact re-hash of when she got that inheritance the first time, there is still quite a lot bubbling away in other areas of the show. The LEAST interesting of all , the Mitchell dramas with the awful Charlie/ Roxy fiasco. What a predictable, character draining story that is!
Is it just me who groans when an episode begins 'the morning after' the last duff duff. It's like a red flag saying 'this episode will be bland and/or eye rolling annoying'. I can't stand episodes set in the businesses during the day, there's no sense of realism or atmosphere. |

Les is awful but he should stick around until atleast Paul has arrived.
I like this kat storyline but it is the only really strong one at present. A lot of us have lost interesting the the mick/Dean stuff and kathy is not returning for a while. While minor stories are going off some new big ones do need to begin soon but not given to any carters. I like how liam and cindy are being revisited though

IMO, it's too late to develop them now and I don't want to see their grandson. He might be just as boring as them!!! I'm really looking forward to Kathy Beale's return, however we need some huge stories for the established characters... |

It's only been a few weeks since live week - just ride out the slump! There's still loads of stuff going on in the grand scheme of things.

I'm really enjoying Kat having a decent s/l at last. I'm not sure where they are going with Les, but I do like him with Billy. The only one's who bored me were the deadly dull Liam, Cindy and Sonia. It was an average episode tonight, nowhere as good as last night or the fabulous four hander last week, but it's not as if we didn't have plenty of average episodes leading up to the 30th.

DTC said they had learnt from the mistakes of the last live episode but it's obvious they haven't.
Ian, Jane and Peter left two episodes later, Phil has vanished again, there's been no aftermath to Kathy's appearance, Vincent hasn't been seen and Ronnie is presumably still/back in a coma. I didn't expect all these storylines to be firing at the same time but they could have at least had a few scenes to keep things interesing |

The same thing kind of happened after the 25th, except it was a lot more watchable IMO, as it was focused around the aftermath of Bradley's death and The Mitchell's were still in The Vic and weren't shoved down our faces straight after, like the Carters have been, up until this week... A lot of characters seem to have just disappeared, whereas after the 25th, only Stacey disappeared and we still had big episodes like Bradley's funeral and the Max and Stacey cliffhanger weeks after, which was brilliant! I just hope they catch up with themselves pretty soon, so these stale episodes can come to an end. I'm enjoying seeing more Kat and Carol etc... But, it's just a shame the episodes are poor... When they caught up with themselves after the 25th, we had big episodes like the Max/Stacey 2 handed, Jacks shooting and the Chryed reveal. Not to mention the show was pulling in over 9 million viewers back then. Anyway, I just hope that we get some big episodes soon. I hope they kickstart a big storyline off around Easter, like they did last year, and I think it would be a good idea, if the somebody who is being arrested for Lucy's murder, was arrested on the anniversary of her death. Just as long as they don't drag it out for too long and it doesn't become a tedious miscarriage of justice! .Things need to improve and pretty soon aswell. Next week looks truly awful! Stan proposes to Cora, It's Donna's birthday and Fatboy decks NuMartin... Thank God Ian, Jane and Phil are back the week after! |

what you have to realise is the ordinary episodes (which lets face are the bread and butter of a soap) is much better under DTC than under Lorriane Newman. You can't have the quliaty of anniversary week over every episode and its as simple as that!

I want to see how Cora deals with Stan's death and the aftermath of that, it will bring back all the memories of William her late husband.

I hope this filler nonsense ends pretty soon tbh. The episodes really are tedious to watch!
