If he did Lola, Cora, Whitney etc would get storylines

I actually think Cora is been used better than Lola & Whitney.

He has said he enjoys the comments of DS readers, could mean he has looked at the forums. I'm sure he has had the odd glance now and again, but otherwise I agree that he'd be too busy.

If he does, I hope he doesn't take everything said seriously and takes it with a pinch of salt. If I was him, I would avoid these forums!

There will be staff whose job it is to read social media like facebook, twitter and soap forums to gauge fans' opinions. I doubt he has the time to sit and read the forums, facebook etc. His own twitter page will be part of his job as it's so Eastenders focused. I doubt he spends his free time on there talking shop but then again you never know he might.

You're acting like we're all disgusting people. The majority of us aren't. I'd like to think I know a thing or two about how to make a show a success.

A little over dramatic, I, in no way, implied that anyone on here were 'disgusting people'.

I was saying that if I was him, I would avoid forums or take some of the posts, not all, with a pinch of salt.

Obviously some posts of constructive and have good ideas but there are others that I would hope he wouldn't take too seriously, that's all.

I think he might have the odd nosey, Alex Lamb I suspect looks more often but it's probably peoples job to check out forums and social media. I have saw Dominic reply to his Sister on his Twitter so I don't think its just part of his job.

This. I doubt the man has the time to read DS, but EastEnders obviously have people who browse forums and social media to get a general 'feel' which is then fed back to producers. I wouldn't be surprised if the show's writers browsed these forums, however.

I hope not. Anyone in charge of a soap who goes on any forum, especially one that is quite reactionary and 'what gave you done for me lately' is going to end up doing a terrible job trying to appease the masses when, in reality, they can't be appeased. We all like to moan too much.

No I don't think he does. He does read Twitter mentions from other people but I highly doubt he uses the forums. If he does, I hope he doesn't use DS as constructive feedback.

He bloody well doesn't read my posts otherwise he'd have been similarly convinced that, yes, Johnny really should have slept with Aleks, Charlie, Peter and Kush before he left.
