Daevid Allen RIP

Sad though not unexpected news. One of the most influential figures in the 60s underground movement, he was an early member of the Soft Machine and gave Robert Wyatt, Steve Hillage, the late Kevin Ayers and many others the chance to create astonishing music. And he introduced the world to the Pot Head Pixies from Planet Gong.
