Ok, aside from the obvious ones (Kylie, Mel & Kim) what are your favourite PWL singles ?
I was playing Donna Summer Love's About To Change My Heart and it's such an uplifting track. A classic.

I always thought it was a shame that Donna Summer never did a second album with them, I read that they gave the material to Lonnie Gordon

Obviously rick astley never gonna give you up then mel and kim respectable. Did they do Hazel Dean I think they did.
I wish they would get some radio airplay never seem to these days rick astley and dead or alive are about the only two.
We should bombard radio stations to get them played. Stuff like mel n kim hazel Dean donna summer rick astley all still sound good.

Other than Kylie and When I'm Good and Ready by Sybil, I don't care for PWL.

I enjoyed their music when I was in my teen's now that I'm older I find most of it rubbish. However, I do like Carol Hitchcock's Get Ready.

Obviously Kylie's holy trinity of 'Better The Devil You Know', 'What Do I Have To Do?' & 'Shocked' are my faves, but 'Roadblock' was a top choon.

Mel and Kim. Showing out and respectable are the obvious ones.
Kylie - better the devil and what do I have to do.
Donna summer - this time I know it's for real.
Less obvious ones are - any times the right time - princess (the whole album is a classic though!) And mAndy Smith - boys and girls.

Princess and Mel And Kim's albums I love. I Heard A Rumour by Bananarama, most of Kylie's stuff, Donna Summer's album with them with excellent too and the first couple of Lonnie Gordon's singles. Oh and Sinitta's I Don't Believe In Miracles is very catchy. Roadblock is a good one too and a totally different sound and style to the one they gave to all their acts! They wrote and produced a lot of samey sounding dross too, that's for sure, but I think their good songs were good enough to balance it out!

I've said many times before that the lyrics on that particular song are quite rare for a SAW produced track in that they are so joyous. Admittedly, she doesn't quite yet know if her love is requited but, for once, there's no reason to believe that it isn't.

Mike Stock's lyrics were almost always tragic, disguised of course with the happy-go-lucky melody, the plinkity-plonkity piano and the explosion in the metronome factory. With This Time I Know It's For Real you get the feel-good lyrics too.

Some of my other favourite SAW/PWL tracks are:

Mel and Kim - That's The Way It Is
Bananarama - I Can't Help It & Love, Truth & Honesty
Sinitta - I Don't Believe In Miracles
Boy Krazy - That's What Love Can Do
Donna Summer - When Love Takes Over You
Kylie - Better The Devil You Know
Lonnie Gordon - How Could He Do This To Me
