Is Lets Kill Hitler popular? Because I found it utterly dreadful.

The End of Time - it felt tired, and uninteresting, a poor unimaginative end for a very popular Doctor. Though the Master at least brings some fun to it.

The Big Bang - Nonsense

All of Steven Moffat series 6 episodes, even the first two parter which at first was good but because it was so intertwined with the story arc it needed the other episodes that were part of the overall story to also be good and feed back into it and make sense of some of the threads in that two parter, as IMO the rest of those episodes were a convoluted mess that makes no sense the whole set of episodes is taken down.

I won't say hate but I'm very indifferent to Name of the Doctor, its wishy washy nonsense, some people hold this in very high esteem, I don't see it.

(this might come across as being very down on Moffat, I would say I think he's done some brilliant episodes, Listen being the latest, but for me he has also done some messy stuff that I don't like, I tend not to like his finales)

Caves of Androzani. I can see why people like it but it left me cold in 1984 and still does.

Evil of the Daleks Episodes 1-5 is boring in my opinion. It is nowhere near as good as Power of the Daleks. Pyramids of Mars and City of Death are overrated in my opinion.

The Stolen Earth/ Journey's End apart from the Davros scenes is the closest I come to hating a popular episode. I agree 100% with what Terry Molloy said about this episode

YANA.

I'll also throw in Asylum, Angels/Manhattan and Name for me. Also Time of the Doctor.

Doctor's Wife is IMO one of the most overrated of Nu Who but I certainly don't hate it. A brilliant idea which perhaps needed more than 45 mins to realise its full potential.
Listen was fabulous and made perfect sense, if you're somehow confused by it then give it another look. It doesn't present all the answers on a plate, it invites your own interpretation of what has happened but that really isn't the same as not making sense

I wasn't too into "Listen", because it felt like it was trying too hard to be special. It just didn't capture me, and I'm not sure why (maybe because it was entirely about characters who I knew couldn't be in danger). But I don't hate it.

Actually, I can't think of any episodes I out-right hate. I don't personally rate "Blink", but its fun enough. I guess "42", since it just felt like a lame knock-off of "Sunshine". But I don't even know if "42" was popular.

Did not like Midnight. Not a fan of invisible peril as such, since seeing Blair Witch. All the ranting did my head in as well.

Was that popular? Surely not. The whole episode actually makes my organs ache.

I don't like The Unicorn and the Wasp. Though I'm not sure how popular it is. Series four seems pretty popular and I hate almost every episode. So that.

This. So so much this.

I can't abide this story.

I can understand people thinking some of the classics that many like some consider are overrated, and I agree with City of Death being one of them. Hard to deny it was the best story of season 17 though. But not liking "The Caves of Androzani" or "The Brain of Morbius" -really? Geez, if you don't like those ones it makes me wonder what you think of the majority of the classic series!

..on second thoughts I take back my comments above on understanding a story might be considered overrated, (well for Pyramids of Mars anyway -it's a absolute classic!)

I don't think Night Terrors is anywhere near the 'popular' mark.

Remembrance of the Daleks, Ghostlight and The Curse of Fenric. I think they're perfect examples of admirable intentions but poor execution that tend to get remembered fondly because everything else from that era was just so bad.

My OH loves 'City of Death' and rates it as one of his favourites of all time. I think it's because he likes the design of the spaceship! I hate the music, hate the 'we're so clever' stuff between Romana and Doctor (especially Romana, never, ever liked Lalla Ward's version) and really hate all of the running around Paris.

Thank god-I thought it was just me! It all seems to manifest itself in the Sanitary Towel Shoulder Pads for me-If I focus on that 'hatred' the rest doesn't rile me as much! LOL

'Hate' is a strong word, so I've just gone through those which I either took a disliking to or was disappointed by...

The Christmas Invasion - I hated what they did with Harriet Jones. The story was passable, but generic. The Runaway Bride was the better story from RTD's Christmas selection.

The Girl in the Fireplace - has its moments, looks beautifully made, but terribly overrated and even awkward to watch in some places.

Blink - I like it, but terribly overrated. Relies too heavily on the jumps and scares...when you know where they are, the story is otherwise lacking something.

Utopia - again I like it, but it was really those final ten minutes that made it special. The other 35 minutes felt like filler - made a bit more notable by the return of John Barrowman.

The Waters of Mars - another I like, but terribly overrated. The character work was superb, the concept amazing, the cheesy running zombies were a major let down, and Tennant's acting as a 'Timelord Victorious' was somehow both laughable and grating.

The End of Time - particularly Part One, but this is a story I never need to see again. The epitome of wasted potential.

The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon - an okay story, particularly part two but let down by the fact it continues through Series 6 and never delivers a solid resolution. Also, it prided itself as being more important than the other stories of the series.

A Good Man Goes To War - disappointing on every level. At least Lets Kill Hitler was fun.

The Wedding of River Song - the reason why finales need to be two-parts, and why an ongoing story arc needs a proper resolution. Nice comeback for Churchill though, and brilliant Simon Callow cameo.

Dinosaurs on a Spaceship - I've seen this gain more approval since it was broadcast. For me it actually got even worse with multiple viewings... episodes like these make me embarassed to say I watch the show - which is a shame as it was bookended by brilliant stories.

The Bells of Saint John - awful stuff, and a huge waste of Celia Imrie who was pretty much the only good thing about it.

The Day of the Doctor - I disliked the 50th Anniversary special for so many reasons, despite wanting to love it. My expectations were low, and still not met.

Deep Breath - a wobbly start to an otherwise solid eighth series.

Flatline - I was just bored throughout this one. Some decent ideas, but as a whole it felt like a glorified version of Fear Her. It was just a bit dull.

Caves of Androzani for me aswell.
I don't hate it but it's just very average for me. I'd rather skip the story and go straight to the regeneration scene at the end.

That's how I feel about The End of Time actually. I can live without the previous 130 minutes or so.

Genesis Of The Daleks and Talons of Weng-Chiang. Never understood the appeal of these stories. Vastly overrated and at 6 episodes a piece, both are overlong and only really come good in the last two episodes.
