Rootmetrics - how to use
Hey
How do you guys use root metrics? Do you do tests every few weeks? or just in new locations? Do you set it to do x cycles? |

Need to be careful with that unless you are on EE as most of the others charge for the RM data (or it gets used up on your account). When I got that 133Mbps test on speedtest.net, it used about 150MB of data!

You an employee then?
I never quite understand the need to donate when selective and sometimes misleading info comes back when all the data sets are sold |

I keep my app installs at a minimum. |

I'm not sure how job, apps and using RM regularly are linked.
I have 301 apps on my iPhone currently... |

On a separate note.. For Devon etc. has anyone seen speeds over 100 Mbps using the RM app. Fastest I've seen in 99.. Despite others showing much faster speeds on other speed test apps. Just trying to work out if their servers are up to the new speeds/congested.

What the hell is wrong with you. All your posts have been so negative
If you believed in what you said you would at least attempt positive spin rather than insist on positive sheep only. And no, my posts are not all negative. I'm positive as an alternative to the, often unknowing, bullying tendency that takes place here. You know what? Truth is far more interesting as a topic. And I'm always after better for the consumer rather than the minimal deal offered by this stuff. You work in the industry I see ! |

I just can't get it to go above 100, even with wifi. Got a rough area for where that was done?

Does anyone else find the test in auto mode does not give enough time for the data connection to idle before switching from 3G to 4G? Therefore once I loose 4G it won't come back even when I am in a 4G area until i pause it.

Yes... This an annoyance of mine. On my android phone i refuse to update the app to the new one that removes the Signal only option.

RM = Root Metrics. The Vodafone server on speedtest also seems capped at 100. |

I'm sorry but I really can't remember as it was a month or so ago. Somewhere in London ain't too helpful I guess. I've deleted the screenshot and RM wouldn't have recorded it due to it showing a poor GPS signal.
The Vodafone server on speedtest also seems capped at 100.
