There seems to be so much hatred for Antony Cotton at the moment so I think it's time to show some positivity towards one of I'm A Celebrity's best ever contestants.

Antony Cotton is brilliant as Sean in Coronation Street IMO and a great sport on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! and the latest episode of Saturday Night Takeaway. I don't get why so many people hate him. I wouldn't say he is the BEST celebrity on TV (far from it) but I don't think he deserves the hate he gets.

Sorry OP, I can't agree with you. AC is a terrible actor. It's almost comedic in its hamminess.

I'd love to see the bits from the 'Get Out of My Ear' bit on SNT that they must have had to cut out due to his rudeness. He came across badly enough in what we saw onscreen!

Remember The Anthony Cotton Show? He would start the show singing amongst the audience! Guest stars such as Norris and Fizz from Corrie. My toes still curl just thinking about it.

No, not really. It's just that many people find his acting beyond woeful so find him hard to appreciate on that level.

I didn't see him on IACGMOOH but I have read a fair few comments saying he didn't come across well on that.

Nope. I only created this thread because of all the unnecessary hatred towards the poor guy, though.

I'm not a fan of his acting but I won't knock him as a person, simply because I've never met him! I do hate the way people make personal attacks on the actors on this forum!! AC & Kym Marsh seem to come in for the most hatred!! It's not nice, it's not necessary & it's completely uncalled for!!
For the record I loathe I'm a Celebrity, Big Brother & other such crap so I certainly wouldn't judge anyone for an appearance on that!!
I've seen him on Celebrity Juice & Keep it in the family & he's just come across as a bit of a larger than life personality, nothing objectionable!!
