Vodafone -Best way to raise a complaint
So, my dads sim only plan arrived today.
Before giving it to him, and knowing about the data test drive, went all out for the day, especially with the Rootmetrics app. Downloaded the Vodafone app, just to see £151 charges for going over limit!! Needless to say called CS. After being given the run around , dropped lines, transferred to other departments , finally gleaned that it was "for some reason" not added. After halving spent half a day, have absolutely no faith in this being resolved. Anyone good ideas or from past experience what the best course of action is? Any help appreciated. And yes, I was warned about CS. Incompetent is an understatement. |

Try their executive complaints dept, about the only people at Vodafone capable of resolving anything, you can call them on 03333044765 or email: CRescalations@vodafone.com

Urgh. Managed to sort it out this morning, but have no faith it’s been done. A promised text message has not materialized. Seen the thread on moneysavingexpert forum, might be the route to go. Looks like it might have to be EE. Out the flames and into the fire (CS wise) |

If that doesn't work out then use Granny and Grandad's method, put pen to paper and visit a post office
![]() Registered office: Vodafone House, The Connection, Newbury, Berkshire RG14 2FN. Keep a copy and also send it signed for, then you have a complete paper trail and independent proof of delivery, if you need to take the complaint further. The fact that you've gone to more trouble than 99% of their other customers, to physically write a letter and wait in a queue at the post office (when you find one which hasn't been closed down) usually gets their attention, and indicates that you aren't going to be fobbed off. |

Called them this afternoon, and all seemed well, as they read back the notes and confirmed resolved.
3 hours later, now completely cut off. I don't know weather to laugh or cry. |

Vodafone have a ful time (or so it seems) rep called Lee in the mobile section at MoneySavingExpert (they have that many complaints he's always busy helping there). You might want to go and post there to see if he can help. There is a method of emailing him that is described in the forum. He's one of the few Voda reps who appears capable of actually getting things sorted. |

Lol, you may be right
The thing is, for Vodafone, my dad is in the line of site of the mast and getting average 50mbps download and more importantly , -70db signal strength On EE, he sits in a darkspot (relatively) it’s averaging 10mbps and -110db . O2, great customer service, but are the masters of underinvestment, and I am loathe to put him with them . Three are a no no, he specifically said not to go with them. I’ve grabbed PAYG sims and visited all his favourite haunts, and and consistently Vodafone come out tops. Not a data user at all, just needs solid calls. I will give them one final opportunity to make reparations, then get on to cancellations |
