Chinese people stealing your information probably.
In all seriousness, do you mean there is no signal or there is no data connection (i.e. no G, E, H, LTE symbol displayed)? |

Does the O2 sim card work in another phone?
Does any other sim card work in the cubot? Is it brand new or 2nd hand? maybe it is IMEI barred if it could have been reported stolen previously. Any message displayed or just no bars / searching for signal? So many possibilities, the easiest and simplest starting point in troubleshooting is trying another sim card in it. Make sure any sim you test works in another phone first. Give as much information as you can so that people can help, is it just the O2 sim that doesn't work? How do you know the O2 sim is active? etc |

Slightly different model but I have had a GT99 for nearly two years, and its worked flawlessly with a variety of sims. Whenever i've swapped network SIM's all i've had to do is to change the APN settings in order to connect Data, i've never had to do anything for the sim to be recognised or show the network and signal.
Some of the early GT72 (non +) were not compatible with the UK frequencies, is it possible you've been sold an early model (old stock) in a GT72+ box. Failing that I suspect you either have a faulty phone or a faulty sim. |
