Are you talking about playing only DVDs because you're connecting it to an old TV with no HDMI inputs, or are you talking about something that also plays DVDs as well as Blu-rays? (i.e. a Blu-ray player, it does both). I'm making the distinction because the era of decent DVD players has passed. most just buy a Blu-ray player, and with prices for them starting at £50 they're all much of a muchness.

The cheaper that Blu-ray players got then the faster the market shrank for premium quality DVD players such as the Pioneers, Denons, Oppos and the like. That ship has sailed, so you can't really buy a 'decent' new DVD player any longer. It's Hobson's Choice of what's left. The Argos page pretty much says it all. I wouldn't mind betting that what's left from Sony, Toshiba, Philips and LG all comes out of one or two large factories producing under license.
