That was excellent!
did anyone else think when they came out of the tardis into the crowd, that it was just like Neo at the end of the Matrix? (same kind of filming) |

Right stupid question here, but this is my first proper series of doctor who.
Is the general concept of the show is that the doctor and rose travel to different places in time? |

Now that was GOOD! Absolutely classic Dr Who style story - but done with some real style - writing, acting and production.

Loved it, excellent, I hope they keep the same witty writers for the next series. Doctor Who the best TV programme on BBC1 for years.

Amazing. Loved it. !
The BBC has really out done them selves. Special Effects were very good, and the story rules. Very well thought out. Cant wait untill next week! |

Got to say, I'm not loving this time travel malarky.
Doctor Who was much better with McCoy when everything happened on Earth, in the present, and the storylines were coherent and long running. If they keep this up it's not going to be any different to any number of other sci-fi shows. Sliders springs to mind immediately. |

It was boring for the first half an hour...it only got good once the earth started to die...i cant see this having big ratings every week...next week does not look good at all with the ghost storyline...

A definite improvement on last week's effort...and I did laugh a couple of times. I also like how we're being drip fed info about the Doctor - rather than being given lots of exposition.
It still isn't quite working for me but it's definitely got potential. I'm going to give it 6/10. But please - the incidental music needs sorting out. |
