It was told from each person's point of view. For example, in Noah's account, Alison is always wearing more revealing clothing and is coming on to him. In her version, he's seducing her and she's dressed more demurely. So there's no absolute truth in either account, just their own interpretation of how they remember it.
But there are some quite big differnces like she in fact saved his little girl from choking. The shower thing in her garden. How can a person mix up whether she stripped off and got in naked in front of him?

If someone answers this, PLEASE can we have no spoilers. Can it be put in spoiler tags (even though it's technically not a spoiler) because I'm wandering the same things as Marieukxx but I really don't want to know the answer. I'm finding it intriguing wandering about the differences in both sides to the story.

Thanks!

Edit: the one difference in both sides that has been bugging me is when Noah goes to buy jam from her at the market, on his side she says its $12 a jar and on hers she says its $8. Maybe nothing but it's the one that's stuck with me

Yeah no spoilers lol. I can get that Noah sees it as her more coming onto him and seducing him but there are basic facts that are different. I personally think he's the liar.

Yeah he bought one jar in one side of the story and the other he said all of the flavours not just the one jar.

Sorry if I'm being thick but are Alison's scars on her leg from self-harm?

Yeah that's right, the multiple jars were $8 but the single one was $12. A touch of my ocd here but that's the one discrepancy that's bugging me

Yes, she told Noah in the last ep that she sometimes cuts herself as it makes her feel better to cope with the pain of losing her son. Then we saw her cutting her inside leg on the beach.

The rape discrepancy is another that's left me wondering.

The style is interesting and reminiscent of "In Treatment", but the subject matter is boring and so middle class white female orientated. It might get more interesting once the murder investigation develops, but so far Im almost falling asleep.Who cares about this middle class dilemma.I dont.

But I do care about the artistry of the style. That keeps me watching. I just hope Hagai Levi finds something more interesting to focus his abilities on next...because he really has something alternative to say about TV Drama formats and I want to see more of that.

The last two eps have been quite slow, not much happening. Hopefully next weeks picks back up again (going by the description on my planner it sounds like it could be a good one).

Is this all filmed in the Hamptons? That area where they stayed in the B&B looked lovely.

This week was brilliant, I loved the addition of Athena and a little more insight into how Alison dealt with the death of her son (her husband's rant at Athena was glorious)

And now we know who died!

I have visions of Dominic West and Ruth Wilson arriving on set, and the director saying, "Okay guys, today we're going for a scene set in an upmarket restaurant", and the two stars saying, "Seriously, no screwing?" Yay! Yay!

I have been wracking my brains as to who he is and it suddenly hit me - he was Pacey in Dawsons Creek!!

Joshua Jackson I think is his name and yes, he has grown up to be a very gorgeous man!
He also played Peter Bishop in Fringe.

Thanks. They seem to be filming a lot of shows there lately. Not surprising really as it looks lovely.

I ended up sticking with it, mainly for Fred West admittedly

Anyone know how many episodes are left?
