I don' think he is awful and i do like the show i just thought this episode was too much of a slow burner. I like Alice and Cole the best so the fact they didn't feature didn't help.

Nothing really sorcha, but I mistakenly thought you were meaning his manly good looks, not his acting ability.

Brilliant second episode. I personally love Cole and the scenes back in the Hamptons. Brings back the magic of the first season.
Watched some clips of what's to come. It's going to get good |

I guess that's good acting, she's probably been directed to go for the spoilt rich kid act. In a related aside, my 21 y.o. nephew was at my place when I watched this, he said "If there was ever a case of a girl who's not classically beautiful, but as sexually attractive as all get out, this is her." |

I'm enjoying it. They've had to reset the series after the murder of Scotty was revealed. It does feel that they are attempting to keep it on a drama footing rather than the soapy feel that last series fell into especially later on. The facebook pages were full of who is the daddy / aw.. I want Alison with Cole stuff. Superficial rather than the complexity of the characters.
Pleased they have taken Alison back to the death of her son. That was so critical to her character in series 1 but got lost in the plotting of series 2. It's what made her the f.cked up mess that she is. Her character became so plot driven in series 2. Noah pressed the self destruct button meeting Alison and as much as his character is jarring at times it is very believable. What a mess the affair caused! Helen is a wonderful character. She gets Noah like nobody else. Good to see Cole start this series happy. I hope more of this series is in Montauk rather than NY. |

Am I the only one that thinks this is going to turn into another whodunit, only this time, it's who killed Noah? Or tried too, as we don't actually know if he's dead, but bleeding out from the throat like that, it seems highly likely. And probably a good thing to end a series like this after 3 season imo.
There are obviously going to be several suspects (including creepy Brendan Fraser, who I cannot take seriously as the burly prison guard) as he's clearly still going to be a huge jerk to everyone as per usual. |

I wonder if they'll show us Alison telling Cole he's Joanie's father or if we've now skipped that part all together with no going back?
I feel sorry for Cole, Alison has done some pretty sh1tty stuff to him |

Much better second episode but i feel like we have skipped so much. If this was one year before Noah gets out of jail, its two years after he was sent down. So what has happened with Alison in that time aside from the 6 months she spent in some mental home?
I also thought Noah and Alison were still together when he was jailed? And are we supposed to believe the surgeon who is sleeping with Helen cannot afford his own place? Why is he renting a room. And again because of the timeline can we assume they have been 'seeing each other' for 2 years? Seems a bit odd considering they are still acting lie its just casual. I know we are meant to like Helen but i find her very annoying. |

I did find it weird how he almost sounded surprised at how many kids she had though when they'd supposedly been together for 2 years, but I probably missed something there. |

I'm pretty sure the surgeon would like more but Helen wants it kept on more casual because 1) she got so hurt before and 2) she's still in love with Noah. I'm also sure he can afford a place of his own but at least he's close to Helen leaving downstairs.

Which episode did you see? If the one where he was sarcastic about how many kids she has, he's moved upstairs.

Ep 5 will be an hour long live take of Noah and his students discussing Proust.

I actually don't know how Noah and the teacher (why does she keep hosting dinner parties for kids) can bare sitting around a table listening to young adults trying to sound grown up. The amount of times f*cking was said was unreal. I don't think I have ever called it that in my life. And the boring drivel about rape and consent just sent me to sleep.
Noah's scenes are (IMO) boring at the moment. I prefer Alison and Helen's story. I even like seeing Noah's sister more than him ... and she seems nice. |

Looks like Brendan Fraser's going to be Noah's "No 1 fan".

Much better third episode, though i have no interest in Juliette. Enjoyed seeing Noahs scenes in prison.

Always confuses me how Alison has all the men chasing after her, she is such a moody and miserable cow. Yet once more the gorgeous Cole is dropping his trousers, when she has only just been back a short while, after he was supposedly so happily married. And now Noah seems to be back looking for her as well.

I'm out. I couldn't care less who stabbed Noah - just disappointed they didn't kill him!
