Netflix profiles stop working

Anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

Initially we had just my profile and the 'kids' profile. After a few months the kids profile stopped working: every programme we tried to access would get the 'we are having problems with this title blah blah' error message, but we could play those same titles via the other profile. I set up a new children's profile and that works fine (for now ...)

A few days ago my profile started to get the same error message for everything we tried to view. Again, setting up a new profile got around the issue, but then we had to reload all preferences etc, which is a bit irritating.

Anyone know why this happens? Are we likely to have to set up new profiles every few months?
