A bit rich for Scarlett Moffat to insult The University Challenge team. She's just jealous of anyone smarter than her.

Not everyone's idea of fun is to go out to clubs and get drunk.

She should put down the bottle and pick up a book.

She seems like a pretty happy person who's enjoying life to me, and successful with it.

Best part tonight for me was the comment the manchester mum made about Stephen Hawking probably not being in the machine that zapped Walliams.
My fave part tonight too. The way the two lads turned round and looked at her

Big fan of hypocrisy then?

"It's not everyone's idea of fun..." one minute, and telling people how they should spend their leisure time in the next breath.

Pretty clear who the jealous ones are.

It's a sign of affection. Wow...so easily put off!
It's the way it's done. There was a couple on holiday with us once who ended every statement with the other ones name. Every statement.
Look at that Clive
What Mary?
That statue Clive
Which one Mary?
The one on the left Clive.
The one with one arm Mary?
Yes Clive.
What about it Mary?
It's got an arm missing Clive.
So it has Mary.
Etc.

This creeps me out.

Really liking the Malone family, particularly the Rooneyalike dad and his occasional gems, and the mum's the thoughts on the Red nose sketch was a real wtf moment!

The new lidl pair looked like they were trying too hard to be different. Much better than that posh family that appear to have been ditched though...

No...it was a suggestion that's all i.e. to read a book. She clearly has no idea about their reality saying "and where does it get them?" Er....a better job!

There's nothing wrong with her being happy. But she chose to ridicule the contestants for reading books,Yet she celebrates alcohol.

What do you think is better for society? Books or alcohol?

More "staged" fun

he looks better with shaved hair
The object f the show is to see them watching and commenting on the tele. NOT watching them mess about.

Sorry, Scarlett. Elton isn't the king of gays; he's the queen of gays.
So what title does Furnish have ?

I used to love it when they played cricket at the start
Stupid place to play cricket

University Challenge The Siddiquis favourite show
calm down love, it was a guess
I knew the Henry VII question !!!!!

LOL Vicars husband isnt even listening to her now
I bet it's the same in her church

I dont know what it is about ed miliband I dont like, but I wouldnt want to meet him down a dark alley.
Him being Prime MInister really frightens me.

Malone dad is possibly my fave now, its his expression more than anything
He's a yob.

I agree , soooooo funny. It's amazing how different people perceive and unravel information. Good episode, had me in hysterics and tears.

I predicted anyone new on the show would get quickly slated. I wonder what would appeal....

Some of us here like the new couple. Giving them a chance would be an open minded exercise.

Odd is good to me...unconventional types invariably prove more interesting than bland, conformist people. Did you miss that they are artists?

The criteria is surely that they be interesting in their feedback - funny is an added bonus (it is not an entertainment show i.e. not billed as a comedy show).

I think that new "posh" family only appeared once?

I wonder how they know who are the popular ones and who to get rid of

Are they paid to watch programmes they would normally not watch?

And another thing when they seek contestants for the programme do they stipulate non-smokers?

I think she was angling more towards a bit of moderation, All work and no fun makes Jack a dull boy. She never said they should give up studies and become hardcore clubbers now did she?
Mind you I'm sure they have fun in the Uni bar over a swift half.

I really liked them. He in particular seemed very witty. He was saying the things I'd have been saying.

The problem now is that we are so attached to the regulars that anybody new Is going to get overly criticised. I think it would be a good idea to phase a few out now too. Leon is well past his sell by date. Is there any TV show where he doesn't immediately respond 'Oh God'

I was hoping that someone would point out that one of the life models on the painting programme was actually on the last series of The Undateables (where we did actually see him naked...)!

The 2 Sandras are getting worse with each episode, we have also resorted to either muting or fast-forwarding through them every time they're onscreen

They are paid, and they watch it all at once in one session.

If they were smoking on screen it would not look good.

Ralf often smokes an electronic cigarette
as his family watch the shows they are
provided with.
