And I a practising atheist seem to know more than they do!
Same as, it was bashed into us at school, it's what made me realise that there are no gods

but at least I know the stories and the timeline of the stories.

Yep we both said that and DH's an atheist and I'm a pagan so the bible does nothing for us, but we still know what comes first etc...

It's weird though that every religion includes a flood story even Australian aboriginals
Not when you consider how common floods are, especially as humans tend to hand around in rivers and valleys where there's more food, and so are more likely to be caught in a flood.

Just another day! At best a public holiday.

After all it was an old celebration of spring that Christians pinched just like Christmas is.
