I'd volunteer to have a driverless car. It would be interesting to see how it handles the narrow roads around here.

If they can be safer than human drivers then they could be a good thing,, there are a lot of people who cant drive and it would be helpful, the only downside is there would be even more cars on the road, the traffic jams would get even worse

I remember saying back in the 1980's that I didn't know whether to bother learning to drive because it was likely cars would eventually drive themselves. I'm glad I decided it was going to take more than five years so I might as well learn .

They could communicate and take alternative routes to avoid jams and automatically use speed limiting though.
