Exactly...why would anyone pretend not to have seen it if it was that good?

I REALLY haven't seen it and feel my life is richer (less subjected to gross images and nastiness) for all that.

I wasn't dissing it, I like it - I'm just saying it's perfectly possible for somebody to have not seen it. There are loads of "iconic" films I haven't seen.

No, not exactly, quality has got nothing to do with this point.

This is DS, it's populated by the smarter types who can see through all the lies, in this case, some (2 or 3 IIRC) Goggleboxers saying they haven't seen this or that film, when clearly 'everyone' has seen it.
The BBC did a TV show and still airs a Radio show about this sort of thing.
I've never seen Star Wars, recent episode:
Marcus Brigstocke invites poet Benjamin Zephaniah to try new experiences - a Bond movie and builder's tea.

I think someone said on an earlier post (a week or so ago) that he has had a hair transplant. He admitted on his twitter page.

He is now duo colour like Noel Edmonds

Oh dear, saw her on another panel show and she didn't make much of a fist of that, she's got some odd ideas.
I can't suffer Alan Carr either gives me the pip, charmless nerk, terrible interviews.

Thought that comment by one of the Sidique (?) family was spot on when he said "I can smell "bullshite" when he watched the segment about the perfume man. ( BTW my favorite family )

Has anybody downloaded the Gogglebox game app? It's basically Candy Crush by any other name, but has some amusing cartoon versions of the Goggleboxers chipping in soundbites along the way

Yes the can come up with some good oneliners. For example, when one of the sons detailed how much chicken he ate that day and the other son mentioned "chicken rehab", the father was quick to offer "cold turkey!"

I think it was one of the sons who came up with that

This film has a crap villian and the storyline is pretty bad, but apart from that it is quite good

Episode 2 of the first series is on E4 at the moment. There was quite a few viewers on who I haven't seen in the early days.

The other Michaels son was on so was Alex.

It seemed more raw in those days.

Wow, I must have a look as I only started watching relatively recently. Be a blast from the past with the programmes, too

You've probably missed it tonight, but they might repeat it again, other wise they'll hopefully be showing episode 3 next week. I'm not sure if they are showing series 1 weekly or daily

Yes, seems to be next Saturday in the early hours. Bit of a random thing to repeat. Thanks for the heads up, anyway

Does anybody know/remember what programmes all the Goggleboxers' various soundbites in the opening sequence come from?

Leon's "They shouldn't be doing this!" I recall was for a drama-documentary thing imagining Nigel Farage becoming PM, and I presume Giles' line about a mackerel from Sainsbury's was in relation to The Supervet, but those are the only two I know off the top of my head.

I realise it's an odd question to ask, but it's the sort of weird completist stuff you'd have thought some superfan would have stuck on Wikipedia
