People make considerations for certain company. She is more free to be herself when her sister is not there...
a no brainer isn't it?

So you don't believe in karma then? How about causality (cause and effect)?

Well the art was of a child chasing a burning tyre i.e. not about the kid starting the fire. Personally I would be more concerned about sending the message that it is OK/safe to play around with a burning rubber tyre...apart from the flame risk, there is the toxic inhalation of the fumes! However, I doubt if a child would read into this at all.

So you haven't grasped the reason for their healthy alternative cookery programme then, i.e. grain free, gluten free etc?

He said 'Calm down' not 'Calm down, Dear'.

It might have been patronising but it wasn't sexism just because he said it to a woman.

Exactly 'calm down'...implying that she was getting hysterical when she so clearly was NOT!
It was clearly said to belittle/undermine her.

That's what patronising means.

And she was getting hysterical.

The first question was just said in a normal voice. THAT was when he inappropriately told her to calm down....and yes, I know what patronising means which was my point by the way!!!!

To you, patronising means using the word "dear" after "calm down". Hmmm.

It's a grey area...for a man to patronise a woman IS seen as sexist. If he used the word "dear" after "calm down" then this would have made it blatantly so. Just a question of degree/intensity.

Yes if he used the word 'Dear'.

But he didn't.

So just patronising.

There's nothing to get.
If women want equality then they can't cry sexism every time a man says something to them that is patronising but not sexist.

My point is that the difference between a man being patronising to a woman and it being sexist is that it's just a question of degree i.e. it's along the same sliding scale etc. A close call.

Incidentally, it's not a question of whether women are equal to men but whether we are superior to them!
Ha!!!

So Scarlett doesn't f and Jeff in front of her younger sister but does in front of her mum and dad.

I don't like that really, even tho I am much older, married, kids ect I would not swear in front of my parents out of respect for them.

Scarlett also has a job as a breakfast radio presenter, so presumably she doesn't swear on there either!

Leon is looking a lot bigger these days, although June seems to wait on him hand and foot from what we see!

Stephen and Chris, Steph and Dom and The Siddiquis had the week off.
