I've just explained why I don't like the show any more.
I'm not going to change my opinion to match what's in your mind, that it was too grim and 'real' for my delicate sensibilities, no matter how you want to rephrase the question.

Didn't enjoy this episode as much as I usually do...anyone else? Maybe I was in the wrong frame of mind for it, not sure.

The two Leeds girls are really getting on my nerves , i think its their voices , ive been able to cope with them up until this series, but ive had enough of them now.


Are there two series of Gogglebox a year ? , i'm sure ive watched series when they havent shown Strictly, or the X Factor every week

I cannot stand them. Along with their voices it's the OTT reaction. They are so fake.

I actually enjoy the talks they have amongst themselves when they're not talking about any TV show.

I have to fast forward through the X Factor segments. The show bores me rigid and am not interested in what anybody has to say about it.

Loved Giles and Mary with their squeaky door. The WD40 conversation was quite funny as neither of them could hear each other, but they were saying nearly the same thing.

A lot of straight lads might say this to demonstrate how much they like him.

I thought that was odd too. I look at nice looking women and think 'awww, she's gorgeous, I would love to have her figure/hair etc... ' But I never think - or say - I want to engage in sexual activity with her.

I did laugh when the 2 ladies in their 80's commented though.

Seems there is a bidding war for her. Time to get rid of the tv. I cannot stand her.

Hi Bella - Scarlett seems to divide people, but I love her and find her funny! Far from being a "dimbo" I think she's pretty sharp with a quick wit and repartee. She's been popular outside and in the jungle. If they have decided she's the "chosen one" and people want to offer her opportunities, even if she ends up overexposed, well none of it is her fault. Good luck to her!

I'm a fan of Scarlett too. She's so quick-witted and funny and warm with it.

Yes I agree. She is so lovely. I don't understand the hatred - based on her being a bit dim it would seem. We all have our areas of lack of knowledge though don't we?

Yes! She doesn't profess to be an academic, but seems happy to learn. Add to that she's naturally inquisitive and a good listener!

Same as last year. A girl from the north east wins over 2 people, I've never heard of before. Love Scarlett on Gogglebox but she's outgrown it now. It should be relatively ordinary people on it. Time they put a 2 or 3 series limit on the families.
