Not to mention the spin-off film Bjarnfređarson
![]() Speaking of Icelandic films this one regularly crops up on the Horror Channel https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reykja...ching_Massacre

Any updates on whether the new series of Engrenages is in production, and when it will be on our screens? Thanks.
There was some controversy in the BBC Q&A the main writer did at the end of the last series re Maghreb people making up majority of criminals depicted. But real life events have justified it even more. |

Any word on the "unseen" latest Montalbano coming to BBC 4?
Great thread. I watched the docu with Andrea Camilleri on beeb 4, earlier this year, saying he was winding down the books, but that new episodes had been made. |

Is anyone watching Angelby? I'm catching up with my recordings and I'm on episode three at the moment (episode five is on tonight at 10pm). I'm really enjoying it, I'm intrigued about what secrets are hidden in the place, the people and the past. Torsten is a bit of a weirdo and the teacher is really creepy!

But I found it got increasingly annoying and stupid. Unfortunately it shifts away from being character driven. And when the plot completely takes over it becomes a complete mess with obvious problems, as actions become driven by the need of the story. I would warn people to not bother with it if they have not started it yet. Although as you are already watching then just be warned that if you start to feel the way I did then it will only get worse, not better. |

I have seen the whole series, it is available on demand (where it is free of any breaks), and was still enjoying it at that stage too.

On the other hand, thanks to this thread I have discovered Out-laws on All-4. Really loving this and hope my enjoyment levels continue! 😀 |

The Out--Laws was great. Maybe nine episodes x 75 minutes was a bit long, but stick with it.

I'm still to watch the 1st episode of Angelby and the reviews aren't sounding great on here. I don't like giving up on stuff once I've committed though. I think the only foreign drama I didn't pursue after episode one was The Border - just couldn't get into it.
I agree The Outlaws was amazing - one of my favourites of this years output. |

Well I'm 2 episodes into Angelby and it's ok, similar to (but not as good as) Jordskott which is why I assume itv encore picked it up.

Can't remember where I saw the actor playing Carl before. I am sure he was in a Scandinavian series with the actor playing the old fisherman tonight. He played a ruthless business man.
