I know it's not a subtitled foreign drama, but did anyone see Deep Water? I bloody loved it! Can't wait for the last two episodes
Enjoyed it a lot, even if I couldn't stand the female detective. Noah Taylor superb as usual.

Oh.......and here I thought streaming was streaming and Netflix was Netflix. I thought streaming at least was universal.

Sadly, season three of Dicte is pathetic. One and two are very good, I hope you have them at least.

There u go, one already on the go. Liked Deep Water so far, especially as it's based on true events. Interesting to see how homophobia played out in Bondi in 80/90s with fear of AIDS . I'm taking it the link with the female detectives brothers death years back is artistic licence?
I wasn't sure after the first episode of Deep Water as thought the four episodes would be too padded out/slow but I got to quite like it. Never clocked until today that the lead female detective was out of Orange Is The New Black too.

Really loving Braquo after stumbling onto the boxsets on sky. It's the Sweeney on French acid!

Wow, that was painful and badly written and acted. No wonder Lars Brygmann wanted out of Dicte.

On to another Danish program, this time a movie trilogy:

Department Q --- comprised of: The Keeper of Lost Causes, The Absent One, and A Conspiracy of Faith.

They look good so far. Dark, violent, and hopefully no animals will be murdered.

Wow. Paranoid, The Fall, and now Case. All shows that I must fast forward through since most of the characters are sick $#@#@s.

And this sick twisted stuff is STILL hundreds of times better than anything on American television. How sad.

A heads up - Braquo Season 4 starts on Tuesday at 10pm on FOX.
I'm crashing through the back series right, nearly to the end of season 2.

What a show and great fun.

Seasons 1-3 will be removed from on demand at the end of this month but season 4 will be on longer.

Finished the second series of 30 Degrees in February last night. Absolutely brilliant drama with a satisfying finale.

Of the three stories running through both series, Glenn's was our favourite.

I believe both series are available on Sky/NowTV boxsets.

Highly recommended.

Is this the series that was shown in January? If so I've seen it. 😞

It doesn't look like repeats. It says Series 2 and "brand new episodes".

I missed Series 1. Any good? I wonder if we need to have seen it for Series 2 to be understood fully?

Having looked at the episode title I'd say it was repeat as I recall it from early 2016.

OK, thanks. Not sure why the Radio Times guide says new episodes. As I have never seen it anyway, I'll probably give it a go.

Yes, I not seen any before but ended up really enjoying them.

On a related note, this time last year Channel 4/More4 were beginning Deutschland 83 and Spin on broadcast channels

This year?? Nothing ?

It somehow seems further back than that to me but I really liked both. What a shame they are not bringing us more around this time. Mind you, there are lots of other series (English speaking) that I'm probably going to be getting in to so it's not as if I need more.

IIRC, someone on this forum mentioned that Dicte was returning in the New Year.

They often make mistakes..

One time they previewed a episode of the Lassgard Wallander accompanied by a picture of Krister Henrikkson
