If Ronnie wakes up somewhere around April 15th then it will match the amount of time that Kat was away from her child in 2011. I think it's possible... it's the kind of thing they like to do at the moment.

I was thinking about this the other day, that Ronnie's been away from Matthew as long as Kat was away from Tommy.
I wonder if they'll reference the baby swap? I'd be surprised if they didn't.

I think we will probably see Ronnie struggle to bond with her son after missing on the first couple of months, and maybe blame herself because of the baby swap.
That could be an interesting story for Ronnie, although I'm hoping she's back before mid-April.
I was expecting her to be on screen again the week after Phil - she's been away far too long now just for a panto break.

She did wake up briefly, and is breathing independently, but she's still in a coma in hospital. I think three months out of it is enough.

I was thinking they'd go for an Easter Resurrection; so Monday 6th. Your idea does sound very plausible though.

Has a soap character ever been in hospital this long without waking up fully it's gone on forever, Normally by this point in soap they've woken, got back on their feet left hospital got back to normal and forgotten all about the experience

How many weeks in advance would the episodes scheduled for mid-April have been filmed?

No Ronnie at all in March. Last year she came back from panto in early March. Its not like she was over worked during live week either. Has she even been in 10 episodes in 2015?

At least Phil's back for the last 2 episodes of March

Surely Ronnie must be back soon, i know the live episodes have maybe messed things up filming wise and they film the episodes in advance but we are almost in April now, a quarter of the year has gone, seems stupid that we are still talking about when Ronnie is returning due to her panto break at Christmas a character as big as Ronnie shouldn't be missing effectively 25% of the year barring a fleeting appearance here and there.

Joe Roscoe in Hollyoaks woke up about 3 months after going into a coma last year, from what I remember.

With no lasting damage too, would love to recover from a major life threatening accident or illness like they do in soapland, they have the best Doctors in the world.

It was a mistake make her "wake up" in love week. False hope for ronnie fans.

Not really... If they didn't do that, she wouldn't have been in live week. Even worse for Ronnie fans!
