I don't think the competition was that bad (talking in general). The US does something similar, where they put out a load of stuff, and the houseguests guess how many pieces of whatever is there, and they eliminate players each round.
I remember it well in BB13, because Daniele and Porsche knocked the entire alliance out after Brendon returned and it was fantastic to watch
You are right, though, Mr_X - the producers definitely have to take a good majority of the blame for their role in this series.
You posted a very good post a few days (weeks?) back where you listed production fails in terms of the comps and twists.
Knockout comp for the instant i.e. keeping the majority in power, and then not even allowing the minority to campaign before noms were locked in and the entire Veto twist fiasco, using an elimination comp making it very unlikely the twist would come into play was so silly of the producers.
The houseguests don't help themselves, though... Bruno and Godfrey putting 10 and 5 in the latest HoH comp... and Bruno's been banging on about putting 98 on the round he got knocked out in 'by accident'. Give me a break.
Then he threw last weeks, too, whilst Bobby took out Sindy... the girl who just voted out her showmance because he was too close to Zach and she knew she had to break the couples up... but yes, Bobby, she was coming for you.
The producers could help these people in all the twists and comps possible, and they'd still fail to succeed. Absolutely useless. Diapers might be crap at reading the game, but at least they can pull off the comp wins.
